The current BOD is not the same as the one of a few years ago. New members added, who were not part of the old boys club, and a new CEO and COO. Yes some of the same people are on the board (like Kinzel) but it's not the rubber stamp board it used to be. I think the board now has the best interest of the company (or the stock price at least) in mind and will try to settle this as quickly, and quietly, as possible.
I am curious though if the court ordered him reinstated after this long delay would it really be the best for the company. By now he would have to come in under a new CEO, get up to speed on the changes that have been implemented, and there is also the question of what would happen to the current COO.
I wonder if they would be able to give him the same pay he had before but put him in a different position, say running Wild Water Kingdom :). But seriously there are other positions in the company where he would really be a benefit.

Why on earth would you want to work for a company that doesn't want you working for them?

If for one minute you think that Mr. Falfas would not want to come back then you very obviously do not know him at all. And back pay is only a fraction of what will come from this. News flash folks, while all the eyes were watching in the courts it seems the eyes were not paying attention to his automatic renewing contract. So guess what happened, you guessed it, his contract renewed again!

No I don't know Falfas, but a renewed contract doesn't mean he's going to decide to come back to work.
I don't know the man. I've heard both sides of the story, but as we all know there is ALWAYS 3 sides to a story. So, I have to give the man respect for fighting for what he FEELS is right.
That being said, if a company didn't want me working for them, I would never work for them. They'd obviously do everything within their legal power to make my job as miserable as possible.

Falfas is no spring chicken eithier, isn't he just as old as Kinzel? I'd imagine he'll get a heafty settlement, and just try to enjoy retirement.
Jack is sixty-one years of age. He could choose to retire early, but knowing Jack (he hired me back in the mid 1970's, been in contact with him on and off ever since) he'll keep on working as long as he's able.

I wish Jacks family and friends would stay out of this.
So because there is no family or social relation between you and Jack, means only you and the people who don't know him can have input on this matter? Unless I'm taking what you're saying the wrong way.
Yea, I think you misunderstood me. Obviously those who are friends or family of Jack are going to support him and say that he is right and left the company unjustly.
I was looking more for an unbiased opinion of the situation.

Actually you don't need to be a rocket scientist or even a friend of Mr. Falfas' to understand that he was unjustifiably terminated by Dick. An arbitrator ruling and two courts agreed with that also! At this point I would have to say anyone who does not agree with the court's ruling must either not have common sense or must be related to Dick. And now Dick will cost the company millions of dollars again!
I doubt Falfas will be back working at CF unless CF determines they want him back. The law typically doesn't force people to associate with each other. However, ruling likely means that he will be entitled to more compensation if CF decides they do not want him back.

Lol there are way more family and friends here than Kinzels.
And regardless, everyone at the company has long since moved on. No one cares about the drama of the old regime. It's ancient history.
I'm also kind of disappointed that you would be posting anonymously over this.

Actually Jeff, if you speak to the employees who still work there and have worked for Dick, you will see that the only drama was caused by Dick himself. Look at how much money Dick costs the company in lawsuits alone. Then throw in the whole Apollo deal. We are upwards of twenty some million dollars and counting. Then he turns around and expects the full time staff to cut cut cut and try to bail him out. That's a lot of drama my friend!
I'm well aware of that, and that's not the point. That era is over. No one is looking back. Fair or not, Falfas is a part of that era that no one wants to revisit.

Actually, there are hundreds of us who are wanting to see Mr. Falfas back. He and Mr. Ouimet would make a great team. Mr. Falfas was the leader in the industry when it comes to operations!
Hundreds? I think you've been out too long.
