maXair actually was open briefly yesterday. I got a ride on it, but it took several mechanical downtimes, and being stuck in the restraints for 15 minutes before it happened :)
Edit: I posted this before I saw you linked to our posts. Sorry!

Whoa - Mark's post disappeared.
Anyway, I'm curious if other Giant Frisbees have had this much trouble in their first years of operation. I know its typical for new rides (even those that aren't cutting edge) to have problems as all mechanical devices will, but did CP just get a lemon or are these problems widespread?

Guess we were all posting at the same time. Since Josh posted that he rode, I didn't need to say that I watched him riding it. :)
And how many other Giant Frisbees are there besides Delirium at KI?
According to this article it sounds like there are Giant Frisbees in the US, Belgium, Finland, Austrailia, India, and South Korea.... coming to a grand total of 7. I wonder if they have similar issues?

Got to ride it twice on Tuesday (last day of my 3 day trip) between 6:15 and 6:45.
Thanks CP for getting it back up and running.
MaxAir is not on the closed list for "Today in the Park" on the website.
Maverick steals the #1 spot, sorry MF
I saw it running yesterday around the time I went to my car to get some lunch (around 1 p.m. or so) it ran briefly with people on it, but I saw it down the rest of the day. I left at 6 p.m. (my boyfriend had to work today).
Got on it today at about 4pm. It was closed until at least 1. Seemed that it was running ok, just a couple of seats roped off.
