No.
I've been to CP for early entry three times so far this season, and all three times, TTD was supposed to be among the early entry rides, along with MF and Maxair. All three times, it was down. The most frustrating day was the aforementioned 23rd, when the attendant at the Breakers gate informed everybody 5 min before 9:00 entry that MF and Maxair were down, but TTD was running. We broke with our tradition of heading for Millennium, and decided to give TTD a shot, and <gasp>, it was down. Minutes later, we still managed to ride happily on the second MF train of the day.
I don't understand why CP continues to use TTD as an early entry ride when it always seems to take a long time to get warmed up. Last fall, it seemed to be MF and Raptor every day, and they both were very reliable.
TTD is a great ride, but i just can't help imagine how great it would be if it were as dependable as MF or Raptor.

They're using us as test dummies.....even though they already have test "dummies".:)
But seriously, Maybe they just want to get as many people on it as the can. I'm sure they test it enough to have it running for the early guests(JCC, hotel guests). I'm guessing It's pretty much "warmed up" by it's 5th or 8th launch. A couple of launches without the water dummies and a couple with them.

I too was there on the 28th (yesterday) and the 29th (today) and it ran great both days. It was shut down for weather (every ride was) for about 45 min -an hour yesterday, but I can't recall it ever being down for an extended period for "mechanical reasons." Let's hope this continues and we can get many many laps in by the end of the summer.

Last public train of 2005 on MF!
I was there on the 26th, 27th and 28th. Other than the thunderstorms (Friday and Saturday) that closed the ENTIRE park, TTD was up an running most of the time.
I got 7 rides in the 3 days and the longest I waited was 30 minutes. Just go really early or really late. When I mean late, like at 7:30 pm on a Thursday when the park closes at 8:00. I got 4 rides in that time (last one was kind of cheap though. I never left the exit area the and the operators let me take the last available seat on the last train of the day...thanks guys/girls).
Enjoy TTD this year, I'm sure it will work and stay open with a capacity greater than MF (Thanks to the new seat belts).

I don't see the crane anymore. If you remember on pointbuzz the pictures of them working in the hydraulic room that is the crane I am talking about. Dragster is closed and it doesn't look like it will open anytime soon. Of course that is an assumption on my part. Anybody know what is going on? I am planning a trip from GA tomorrow and was hoping someone might know what is going on.
In my two trips to CP thus far this year, I've been extremely impressed with Dragster's performance. I've had two great rides on it without any problems, and I didn't have that fear that I'm wasting my time by getting in line that I used to have back when there was a 2 to 1 chance it would break down and you wouldn't get on.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
