I'm GLAD I'm not at the Point!

This coming week is going to be EXTREMELY hot! Even hotter than MrScott in a thong!

It's bad in MI today, I can only imagine how uncomfortable it will be standing in line.

Mayor, Lighthouse Point

Mr Scott, all I can say to that is, nobody wants to see you in a thong. ;)

First trip June 23rd

^Speak for yourself, buddy.

I mean.. Yeah, that's pretty bad MrScott.

However.... You COULD be relaxing in the pool at Lighthouse Point, that would cool you off.

My little ForecastFox extension's symbol for today is a thermometer set on fire (I can't remember if I put in my location or not, but I'm in SE MI as well). 95` where I am. ouch.

Band camp is in two weeks xD

I couldn't agree more. When I went last week, I was sweating when I was just standing in line. I guess it was kind of a plus that it rained for most of the day. Instead of being hot, I was just wet.

It's hot at the Point and it's hot where I live. I'd still rather be riding roller coasters than going to work!

^Wouldn't anybody?

Hmmm... My yahoo says 87 degrees.

When I worked at The Point in '02, the hottest I ever remember it being was 106 degrees. That temp was recorded at 5:00 P.M. in the shade. I worked on the Grand Prix and Sprint Race Track so the heat of the sun on the pavement doesn't help.

wow, its only 88 in the caribbean today. :)

ha..ha..just walked outside...101 in south louisiana

Too hot for an amusement park visit, yet perfect for a trip to Soak City or Wildwater Kingdom! ;)

NWS says it's 97 here... 99 tomorrow!

Still, I'd rather be riding coasters in the heat... can't imagine the lines for Skyhawk, though, let alone Snake River Falls.

...Those mist fans in the queues are godsends on days like this.

It's was a lovely 95 in Columbus, Ohio today. But I can't forget the humidity as well. All of Ohio has been stormed on this last week, it has to be horrible at the Point.

It's hot outside? Wouldn't know. Feels nice in here. ;)

My forecastfox says this (and it draws from Accuweather):

Sunday: 93 (Feels like 99)
Monday: 97 (Feels like 100)
Tuesday: 91 (Feels like 95)
Wednesday: 89 (Feels like 92)
Thursday: 92 (Feels like 92)

Looking further the temp doesn't moderate until next Sunday.

Not to be confused with Twisted Wicker 08 from 2002

Well to add to how hot it is here (and trust me, I'm in a house on Cedar Point Rd), I for some dumb reason thought it would be a good idea to go in today, and drove down there to find that the entire parking lot was full, so not only is it hot, its apparently very crowded!

Wow its hot, what a great thread ;)

Anyone that can go outside or watch the weather channel can figure it out.

I set up tents for my business and it was 97 at 12noon today and lifting those things man HOT, But by looking at a few post above I guess it wil be a ot one at CP on Monday and Tuesday when we are there.

RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE

Would now be an appropriate time to be playing Heat Wave on the playlists for the midways? ;) Heat index in my area is expected to top 100 for the next two days.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
