Of course you can BackStreet Girl. The station could be the _ part of the "L" and the lift and track can be the rest. To me that would make for a fairly nice looking ride.

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"
:) It must be nice to have a park where you can say ONLY 3 of the 12 coasters go upside down. Is that really a lopsided number? I can already feel the headaches coming on after another multi looper.
Can't we all just get along?
Knott's is my home park, and I have ridden Ghostrider plenty of times (I have lost count). Ghostrider is a double out and back in the shape of an "L" with a helix at the end. While clones are not CP's thing, believe me, if any woodie merrits being cloned, this one does. I think CPBound has the answer, a ride similar to Ghostrider, but it will be a real challenge to make it better!

Only 2,290½ miles from Cedar Po!nt.
"It was sounding to me like you knew a little bit about coasters until you made that statement. WOW! Girl, what are you smoking? "
I have an idea, let's resort to personal insult. Yes, great idea. I know quite a bit about coasters thankyouverymuch, and I don't appreciate you putting me down because I think some coasters are better than those at Hershey, which are also good, just not AS good as far as I'm concerned.
"Which by the way, where did I say that the Mean Streak is an out and back? "
Right there....*points down*
"BUT!, if you had to classify it as either an out and back or a twister, it would go under the out and back category first. "
Never said it was "TWISTED in the shape of..." anything thank you.
Don't talk down to me like I'm a 4 year old, I've been an enthusiast for a long time, and I've ridden and studied a lot, and I don't care how OLD you are, because you're certainly not acting mature. I'm not going to belittle you because you like Hershey's coasters better or whatever, and I certainly expect the same kind of respect when I say that I like Gwazi and the Knoebel's Twister and the Legend better. To tell me I don't know anything because of THAT opinion is a very immature statement to make, and since I am above that kind of stuff...putting people down for their coaster tastes...I won't do it.

Not fired up, just perturbed by people who think they know everything.

I think eggs had the right comment.
Chill out girl, I'm just trying to have a little fun with this debate. If you think I was trying to insult you, or put you down, I apologize. It was never meant that way. Somehow this has turned into a full blown argument and it didn't need to. Ofcourse, everyone has opinions and that's great, but sometimes you just can't over look the obvious facts.
CP does not have enough wood. I believe this to be a fact. CP does not have a real wooden twister. I believe this to be a fact. CP should put in a wooden twister as their next coaster. This is an opinion based on the facts and in reference to the topic.
Whatever on the steel. I'd like to see something else that goes upside down, but, to each his own.
Now....I'm thinking about putting my picture under my member profile. If I do, you won't hunt me down at CP and beat me up, will you? Again, just trying to have a little fun, no need to be offended.

Wouldn't waste my time.

Oh, someone close this thread already.
This thread has crossed the line in to coaster geek speak over silly arguments. It's the reason that so many people I know are turned off to the "enthusiast" crowd because stuff like this completely escapes the purpose of the enthusiasm in the first place... to get your rocks off on coasters.
Personal insults will not be tolerated, and if I see more of it, you're history. We don't need that crap on our site.
