I wonder if they will fix the queue...

It would be alright if the TV station area actually worked, or if they updated the music. I do get reminded of that queue when I hear "Ironic" or "Love Shack" though...
The video at Mantis plays all the time. But the TV is covered. In the past two years I have worked there I haven't seen it un-covered once.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Can't one of you who works there say something around the lines of, "Gee, maybe we should take down those giant mats on the TVs." Is this possible, or not? Hmm...

It wouldn't make a difference, the screen itself is messed up. The tints are different between the four panels, some of them don't even work, and is it really necessary to show the 6 year old music videos? The music is the same either way. I just want to see the POV's that they have on the little segment when they talk about the warnings on Mantis. I guess this just goes to show that TV's aren't meant to be outside in the elements.

True, true.
The END of 2000? I rode Millennium Force when it was just two weeks old, and that section was ALREADY becoming a gum-wall. I fully agree with the rose-bush and taser-wall ideas. If people can't be trusted to respect the property of others, teach them the hard way.

I think one time I was in the queue for MF, there was someone in a wheel-chair taking the standard queue just to be able to talk with their friends on the way in...

That is just terrible to see handicapped people ridiculed for using the special access ramp. It may simply be a matter of arrogance, and if this be the case, Cedar Point should place some sort of signs up or something letting visitors know that the special access ramp is just that.

Hey I was there in AUG last year, yes that TV was covered but there was a small opening on the cover so I knew the TV had a picture on it. However the picture on the TV was messed up so that probally the reason why it is covered up.

How many sea gulls is there at CP?

They should have a security camera right on the gum wall, hidden, and when somebody comes close enough (even if not to place gum to the giant collection) the camera pops out and stares directly at them, making a flash, like an ordinary camera (except it wouldn't take a picture, just have a flash). Its a crazy idea.

...but would it work? Maybe...

I think it would work! Even just to have a few "fake" cameras in the queue would help. SOme of them would be real, and others would be fake, so no one knows if you are really being watched.
Or, it could just induce people to stick gum on the cameras...
Heck, make them all fake. No one will ever know the difference...untill they start sticking gum on the walls again and they don't get caught. Fake cams aren't expensive so I say they should at least try it.
I am one who needs the special access pass and I am very concerned about using it on MF. It is the worst in the whole park! My husband won't even ride w/ me now because of all of the grief we get when we have to merge!!! I'd be thrilled to be able to stand in line like everyone else. And the gum issue-- if you ever have to walk behind Raptor (where we have to go for the access pass) my advice is to walk carefully!!! There are many colorful shades of gum.
Why don't they allow you to walk up the exit ramp?

It would be fun getting from "exit" station to "entrance" station.
CP, I have wondered that myself. I have asked, but they just say you have to go to the bottom of the ramp and merge in the line. Causes a LOT of problems! CP really screwed up on this one!
I have a question about this merge in line. So its just 2 ramps that lead into 1 where one of them are for those guest that are impaired. Is this merge staffed by ride-ops?
Well, I've seen a person in a wheel chair enter the handicapped entrance along side the exit station from the queue, and they just board there and ride into the loading station. I don't see what they couldn't do this for people that come up the exit.

Isn't the problem with special access on MF that the entrance and exit ramps are totally separate from one another? So if you go up the exit ramp you can't get to the area where you board the ride. (Or am I thinking something else...?)
