I wonder if they will fix the queue...

One thing that still needs to be addressed on Millennium Force is in that last bay of the queue. You may recall that towards the end of the 2000 season the last two rows of the Millennium Force queue were blocked off. Closer examination shows why...the brick wall under the entrance ramp was becoming a gum-wall.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'd like to see them come up with a more permanent fix. Why not remove the concrete pad in those last two rows and plant a row of shade trees right alongside the ramp?

That would be nice if you ask me.

Fear the Mullet!

Yes, Jeff, but you see, that's the problem: Nobody ever asks us! :)

They don't ask, but they do read this stuff! They call GTTP in some circles "the official unofficial site."

That would be nice.. but does anyone else remember the 'gum trees' that run next to the stairs leading to Mantis' station?  The majority of the general public, unfortunatly, have no respect for anything these days.

Good point Gravity.  That tree by Mantis' stairs was nasty.  Not sure if it was better or worse after they chopped the top of it off! :)  Even if it was just some shrubs with mulch around them or something - it might make things a bit nicer.

CP security needs to watch for that a little more closely. That way if they see some punks sticking gum where it doesn't belong, they can throw their asses out. Don't do something in somebody elses house that you wouldn't want them to do in yours.

I was super before Superstew was cool!

CP Police have enough of a problem remembering that you can't smoke in line. They'll never be able to catch someone putting gum on a wall. Don't get me started on CP's "police" I've actually told an officer about someone smoking in line and even pointed them out; his response? "He isn't hurting anybody."

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............................

Please, folks, let's not go THERE again!!

The mean streak as well has a gum wall right up near the station. I think it's the most disgusting thing in the whole park. I know it's annoying that people smoke in line, but I can tolerate that much better than looking at hundreds of people's chewed up gum. Especially the fresh ones with saliva still dripping. Ewwwww... I wish people would have a little more respect for Cedar Point. It's a great place and I don't like seeing people trash it. I also get disappointed when I see the water under the mantis or iron dragon area getting really dirty. I know it will happen but I think that people cause it to get dirty much faster. I can't even tell you how many paper cups, wrappers and other items I have seen floating in the water. Why can't people have just a little more respect?
Why not just pull out the concrete slabs and fill it with gravel or grass? I don't think you'll have a gum lawn. Maybe Jeff can get permission to cam the growing of grass in the area too. Either that, or cam the evolution of "The Gum Lawn: Where people throw their filthy Gum!"
Yeah, I was somewhat surprised that they hadn't done anything with those sets of queues last season. I think that they could just but in some more shrubs there so everything in that queue is the same.
Why not just keep on not using them, they have plenty of other queues.
You know, a nice rosebush will provide both shade, given sufficient time, as well as a nice incentive not to stick fingers into it.
Maybe mix in some poison ivy . . .
that would teach them.
They shouldn't allow gum at Cedar Point! Even though I help create the gum wall. Hey at least I'm honest.

No gum at Cedar Point!?! There would be riots!

MF count: 23

Plus there is no way they can keep gum out of CP. They can't even keep gum out of a school with 700 students with about 100 teachers. So you see what I mean. And I just wanted to say this but I think you were just kidding! ;)
