The restraints will ruin any potential this ride has. that and the campaign to ruin Earnhardts name by smearing his logo, number and image on anything DEI can in the name of the almighty dollar by his widow. Its no wonder Jr. left the restraints of the company.
Aside from my personal hatred of the way DEI has been ran lately... Both the intimidators look like loads of fun. The B&M version will be the better of the two, but I say this only because I know those restraints on 305 and they won't let you enjoy the ride the way Millennium Force does.
for the record: I am not a NASCAR fan. I follow a lot of racing and tend hear the news coming out of that particular brand of the sport.

So lets all root for the son of Millie... Go I305!!!
Based on another CF coaster that bears the "son" name, I'd either a) not root for it, or b) not call it a "son." But maybe that's just me. :)

I'm a bit tickled how some people have formed opinions about a ride that not one human has ever been on yet.

This industry is built on speculation over exaggeration! Where have you been?! ;)

I understand your point, however, those restraints are just like Maverick and on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being poor and 10 being amazing, I rank Maverick at a very solid 8. It could have 10, but the restraints keep those 2 points needed to get to 10.
Now, since I've been in those trains on Kingda Ka and ridden Top Thril Dragster without them, I have a very good idea how I-305 will feel when riding, which is how I based my opinion.
Like I said, I-305 will probably be a really good ride, but the restrains will keep it from being amazing.
305 Blows MF Away by far!!!
Being a Ride Warrior is just not a job!
It's a way of life!!!
I have ridden the all the coasters at K.I. and C.P. that i have lost count!!!!! and it is not the amount of times i have ridden, it is just the joy of riding them for me!!!!
The pullout on the drop looks to be much more gradual on 305 than it is on MF. I suspect that'll make the drop a little less intense, but it should still be a good ride.
I'm interested to see how the transition feels into the turn from the drop. The slight sweep from left to right looks fun. :) And PrawoJazdy, the difference with the restraints for I-305 is that this is their first appearance in America. The restraints on Ka, Maverick, etc, are far more rigid than what is being put on 305. And while I haven't personally been on a coaster with the new style, I cant compare them. But they're still different.

I had the chance to see the testing of I305 yesterday. In person, this thing looks like it's gonna be more intense than Millie? Like I said LOOKS... I am going to ride it April 2nd so we will see!
Must be nice to be riding such a nice coaster in only 9 days...
Countdown clock for CP seems to regenerate.
It is going to be very nice to ride it next week. I am planning a trip to CP and to catch a Detroit Tigers game to see my college roommate and teammate Scott Sizemore in his rookie year! Can't wait to ride I305 and Millie!!!
Not to derail, but that's pretty cool you are good friends with Scott Sizemore. I'm cheering for him, but he's having a rough spring training. He has a great opportunity.
I305 looks sweet man. I'm sure it won't be too hard to do, but have a blast!

Yeah he was my teammate at VCU. His ankle will be fine! That is the only thing hold him back. He dove into my new when were both going for the ball in the outfield while I was in rightfield and shattered my knee. So I told him he broke his ankle Arizona fall league because of karma! hahaha
My entire team made fun of my for being a coaster nerd, but to tell you the truth... I made them all nerds now! Scott has been to CP 5 times now! And we are going again this year.
Back on topic...
I305 looks a lot faster than Millie. I think it is an illusion since it is so close to the ground and the turns are like on Maverick but 20mph faster! I wish it was longer because it still has more speed going into the trim breaks leading into the station than Millie.

Any relation to Grady Sizemore from the Indians?
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Nope... Not related. They are just as related as Millie and I305. Two completely differently roller coasters!

Even though Intimidator 305 will have otsr, it sure looks amazing and a really winner of a thrill machine. Actually the restraints are not exactly like Mavericks. I305's are more formed and slimmer/thinner than Maverick's.
