Toledo has one of the top 20 courses on the contry.. Inverness.. granted it's private... but there are alot of nice courses around Toledo...

I'm determined to play this summer as I haven't made it out even once since I started working at CP.

Used to drive out to CP and stop off at a course... and never make it to the park back in the old days.. hehehe

My friends and I had occasional movie nights, pudding fights! lol!!....we went to the marsh a lot. That has a really awesome veiw of cedar point if you know where to look amd if you go at a certain time! hehe ;). Of course I did go into the park and ride and going to visit friends who were working is always fun! I went to soak city once. It was alright. I liked the wave pool and the lazy rivers and I like that fact that its all warm water!, but i'm not that big of a fan of water parks, and of course there are road trips! :) Oh and for anyone who hasn't done this yet...GO TO GHOSTLY MANOR!! lol! I went at the end of last season and I was scared outta my pants! hehehe. You won't be sorry! ;). I also went on a few ESD trips. Those are fun. I've gone to an indians game and on the Chicago trip. Chicago was soo much fun! :). There's also lots to do around the dorms. there are parties everywhere and movie nights going on all over the place! :) and there is Louie's, which i went only once to, but I hear is a fun place! Kareoke on wednesday nights! hehe :). But yeah, there's lots to do around sandusky, you just gotta go out and search for it. Take a road trip around town and see what you can find! :) ;)

Lindsey, "You screamed more then I did!" Well, I did actually have my eyes open...

Yeah, I was mostly in the park. I didn't come all the way from California NOT to go to CP as much as I can. It was fun because I had to stop and say hi to everyone I know and that took a very long time.

During the summer I also took some roadtrips with friends to other parks and various sites around Sandusky (Prehistoric Forest anyone?) Who couls forget Top Thrill QPT, and just hanging out in the Courtyard, or Louie's, or in someone's room or apartment. The Marsh and those shoes EEK!! Goping to Dianna's or Steak and Shake at 6 in the morning knowing you have to open the next day to hang out with someone on they're birthday ;)

You make incredible friends and there is always something to do. Many people have differnt tastes, so if you want to do something, chances are there are a few other people that want to as well.

The weird guy from California

The JR Crew/1003 would have theme nights every monday. As you may or may not know, monday nights were free admission into Club X for cedar point employees. Club X is the local gay bar. The themes were goth night, red night, pink night and jock night. It was a lot of fun getting prepared and going out dressed to impress. :-) There was one night were almost all of the guys in my apartment went out in drag. Upon departure there also happened to be a fire alarm in the closest dorm (1400?) and there was quite a crowd to witness this event. Fun fun fun! Other things we did include: volleyball on the beach outside of TGIF in Hotel Breakers, movie nights, party, go into work on your day off to dance, party, play in the park, and party. Oh, we also had a hawaiian party in the room. Everyone got lai's at the door. OH! We also went to karaoke at BW3's every wednesday. There is some talent among the crew (considering what we do every 20 minutes all day, everyday) so there would be plenty of participation in that. We would also take pictures in the booths in the park at the arcade locations (the ones that put your face on a sticker) and then distribute them to everyone at work the next day. The fun never ends!

whenever i wasn't working last summer, i would take a nap b/c after a crazy shift at fridays, you needed a power nap, especially if you were going to the bar, when not resting, my roommate and i were at the mall and then going to dinner to fill up b4 getting plastered at the bar ( i recommend red lobster, max and erma's and crackerbarrel if you're looking to get full b4 getting drunk...good good food they have) and then if i wasn't at the mall i was outside chillin in commons talking to any and everybody
