How far are you traveling for Gatekeeper?

Was at the point for four days in may, and going for another 3 days in the end of august. Can't wait! Nothing like a ten hour drive to get you pumped for Cedar Point.

Some teachers do a lot to damage the minds of their young students, it's a shame people like that are allowed to "teach".

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Wow that teacher is misinformed and should be fired. I agree with Pete.

It's nearly impossible to get a teacher fired.

Top Wood: Timberwolf (don't judge me..)

Yeah, I agree, she did say and I quote "why would somebody move near Lake Erie? A nuclear facility could have trouble and they'll die!" 1in 1,000 years that would happen.

But, if something were to happen, and considering the Boston marathon, yeah, not moving there.

What does the Boston marathon have to do with a terrible teacher and a nuclear power plant in Ohio?

Bomb to Boston = Bomb to facility, bad choice.

Ok, so there's no connection what-so-ever.

Just wanted to clarify.

There is a connection, the people who planned the bombs could plan to strike that facility.

Not to mention 9/11, where if all went as planned for bin laden... the facility would have been hit, it's a target for any enemies if ours believe me....

Just stop already.

Well, one of the people who planned the bombing is in jail (and not likely to be released any time soon) and the other one is dead.

So no, they aren't going to bomb a nuclear facility in BFE Ohio. And neither is anyone else.

And that same rural nuclear plant in BFE Ohio wasn't on any possible list in the 9/11 attacks.

John

Yes it was

And those 2 worked for somebody.

Remember this is all from what I hear,

But a teacher shouldn't teach us, now yeah.. But we spoiled plenty of plans against us, so I don't worry.

I'm just trying to say its a known target for many.

I'll stop, considering people r freaked when this 1 in 1000 years could happen!

Just saying its known round the world

Well that explains a lot. I don't even own an AM radio...

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

That nuclear facility sustained a direct hit from an F2 tornado on 6/30/1998, it can handle some wimpy bombs.

This thread was started to talk about Gatekeeper travel plans, not nuclear plants . Please take this talk elsewhere.

It's about how far but I'm just saying if you live close you've been warned.

A bomb is not an f2 tornado, an f5, maybe stronger.

Just so you know, you have more chance of being killed while driving a car, being struck by lightning while swarm of bees stings you to death than you do of being killed because terrorists bombed a nuclear power plant (something that has never happened anywhere in the world).

So, I would avoid leaving your house.

Goodbye MrScott

John

It has happened, and stung by a bee oh, yes but we have our protection.

Not for the facility! It dont have to be a terrorist attack...

What an absurd thread hijack. 117 posts in 9 days is too much. Slow down and think quality over quantity.

Hijack aside, I think this thread has played out.
