How far are you traveling for Gatekeeper?

I'm from New York City. It's like 620 miles away so about 11-13 hours give or take. It's a good trip though, especially when I have the World's Best Amusement Park to look forward to!!

Lemon Chill Guy says 500 footer within the decade!

Coming next week from Minneapolis, it is about 11 hours to make the drive but this year we are stopping off at Kings Island for a day before heading up to the Point.

75 miles,1 hr 15 mins. Eastern suburb of Cleveland.

Based on the number of times in my sig at 150 mile round trip = 48,300 miles racked up for CP traveling. Never looked at it that way before. Hate to figure the gasoline cost.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Leaving tomorrow from St. Louis! 8 1/2 hour drive! Opening day here I come!

Around 7 to 7.5 hours! Just went over the weekend!

12 hours had we made no stops.. But of course we had to go to kings island on the way and take a look at the closed kentucky kingdom before stopping by holiday world on the way home so that was a significant extension to an already great vacation!

I will be leaving Chicago on the 28th with the wife and staying at the Kalahari for one night and then Breakers for 3 nights.

Looking forward to our first trip to CP in the summer since 2008. For the past 5 years we have been going to Halloweekends only.

Traveling from Norman, OK to Will Rogers World Airport (25 min drive) to jump on a 2 hour flight to Detroit Metro airport where I'll have a 90 minute drive to the park. Once in August and once in September

I am not sure how much time is it, but I'll be traveling from Puerto Rico. All I know it's that it's really far. :P

I thought about moving to a place 10 minutes away, but then I heard about a nuclear facility around there so....NO WAY

^^^That's why the coasters are so big at Cedar Point^^^

What do u mean? What's that matter for? For my safety, not going there near a nuclear facility!

I'm sure your chances of dying in a plane crash are much higher than dying of radioactive fallout, at least statistics wise. There's really only been 3 major nuclear accidents in the history of nuclear power - Chernobyl, Fukushima and Three Mile Island.

And your chances of dying in an auto crash are much much higher than a plane crash.

Apparently we're teaching our kids to be scared of anything that might look, seem or otherwise feel scary.

Nuclear plants are extremely safe. One of my buddies has an internship at the Perry Plant about an hour and a half east of Cedar Point. He said it's safer to work there than at his previous job pushing carts in a grocery store parking lot.

Yes actually, my old teacher said we shouldnt move there in case anything happens, look its fun to be there for one day or more, living there even, but if there was a problem, what would u do?

Lol that was my old 6th grade teacher, she taught us not to go and said everybody who lives there is stupid. (Why would somebody go, people do but for no reason, lol cp is the reason I bet 75percent of the people go live there)
