Hello all. I am a new member to this board and wont be a frequent poster(too many flamers LOL).anyway just checked the cedar point web site and as of 12:20am they are reporting dragster will be down on saturday.Guess testing goes on.better safe then sorry.

Hmm...I would have guessed that anyways. You got it right that they want to be more safe than sorry though.

I was also there yesterday when they began the testing, and oh what a sight! It looked like they were going to open the ride, too. And I must say that those trains look sweet with or without the theming. There was a line of people that stretched farther than you could see, just incase they opened TTD. I was at the front of the line with my friend praying that they would open, because if they did this could be the best day of our life. We waited for a little more than an hour and a half or so, and realized that they stopped launching trains over, the crowd of people diminished, and the mechanics were leaving. They would not open it today, and so we decided to go ride Millennium Force instead. It was good fun, however, standing there and watching even if we didnt get to ride it.

Well right now at 11:24 AM on the station webcam you can see some ride ops in the station...Maybe getting the ride ready?

Yea, they are cleaning the 2 trains in the station.

They have emptied the water dummies .. that is a good sign for those folks there today.. :)

5 Trains are on the circuit, Lines are building...Trains are launching after what looked to be like a small mechanical problem. Looks like a go for today.

Its been running last 5 min no problems and constantly cycling trains. Looks like any of us out there today are in luck!

At about 5:15 PM, I was in line for the Wildcat and did see one test launch. There were two maintenance men in and around the control booth and two ride ops around the load/unload area. I while afterwards, I noticed that one more train had been placed on the transfer track which may have been why they had launched. However, they still have a train in the launch position and one directly behind it. It seems that they are able to launch trains when they need or want to. Or, after they had launched two trains, the ride went down once again with a major mechanical problem before they could get the testing done.

The status report on the website said that its Currently not operation and it usually says it wont be open today.
