There are actually a lot of Wings fans in the southern states - Florida especially.

Well my boyfriends parents have been down there for about 4 years and I have asked them before and they said that they have never met anyone who liked the wings or really even hockey. But I hope people do like the Wings. Because that is one of the biggest things I wll be missing about Michigan.

Hey now, I just a Pens fan. I am even wearing my Winter Classic jersey to the park tomorrow.

^ - nice, I've been trying to find both an old school Pens jersey (the powder blue) and a HNIC Canada jersey at a reasonable price for a while now. No luck on either.

Oh, and does anyone else find it disgusting when Avs fans where a Patrick Roy, Quebec Nordiques "throwback" jersey?

Fortunately the campground I'll be visiting this weekend has TWC and I just happen to work for them so I can make my cable box work in my camper. :)

They should put the games on the giant screen by the train station. Not that I want to watch it, or care who wins for that matter, but I'm sure there will be plenty (unfortunately) of people who would stand and watch it there. I know I did for the OSU vs PSU football game last year.

I despise both cities in terms of sports teams, so I hope for the most boring Stanley Cup Finals ever. :)

I've been watching the Wings since around 1995, at least, that's about as far back as I remember. I remember the OT goal in 96 from Yzerman, and stupid Coffey putting the puck in our own net, and the draper face rearrangement.

Definitely remember PASS Sports and 3/26/97.

You got that right Jesz, Watch out for Jason. I am sure you are too young to remember this movie but look it up. Friday The 13th. Still looking for hotels in Sandusky area that carry VS though.
