Hotel Breakers - Haunted?

There's a replica in the Carousel Museum, but the one in the Town Hall was, according to the woman working there, the original one. She had to check a book to make sure, but she told us it was the original.

I see posts about haunted breakers all the time. It's one topic that won't die.

I was there with my dad and it was during halloweekends. We were walking in the long hallway looking at the pictures decorated for halloweekeneds. I was standing in front of this picture looking at it and there was an employe door in front of me All of the sudden it slamed in my face and no one was there. So i ran outside and my dad was even scared. So thats why i am not staying there any more.

Are you talking about an employee dorm room door or one of the hallway doors?

The Breakers hallway doors are held open by electromagnets which are tied into the fire alarm system. On several instances I've seen the doors suddenly close either due to a blip in the fire alarm system or the electromagnets losing power for any number of reasons.
