So all of this "fuss" is about being extended 2 hours? Are you serious? And you claim to "know the industry"? This is priceless! Let me explain how the leader of the "indrustry" works, Disney. As a Disney employee after 8 hours you can be extended another 2 hours, and another two hours after that, making your shift a 12 hour shift, no questions asked. And if you walk off the job you are toast! Now as you complain about working another 2 hours, think of the Disney employees who are currently sitting in parks and resorts on "Hurricane Ride out Crews". They have no idea when they will go home again! Their only concern is making sure the guests, and the assets of the company remain safe in the current Hurricane!
Guess they dont teach these things in Buisness 101! LOL
Why work at Cedar Point if your going to say those things about it? Nobody is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to work there. I know the economy sucks right now (and has been for sometime), but I'm sure there are other jobs out there.. you just have to look for them.
Bashing CP like that. You gotta wonder if they didn't get fired for doing that.
If they are complaining about working an extra 2 hours, welcome to the real world. If you think it is going to be bad at CP, wait until you get a real job. My boyfriend worked a mandatory 10 hour day. After that sometimes he was told to stay an hour or 2 or 3 or even 4 sometimes more. This was without notice too. Same thing with me at Toys R Us. So stop whining about it. If you don't like it, then don't work there.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Hey, you two: Stop ruining the thread.
Lazyjerrico, that's exactly what I'm wondering. I understand starting to work and having things go sour, but that's when you either grin and bear it or quit. You don't make a video singing "f--- Cedar Point" and post it on the Internet. I wonder if anyone at the park knows about this.
And this is the one that went public. It makes one wonder what goes on that we aren't aware of.
1,146 rides on Raptor. Three rides in 2009.
Hey you: Don't be a moron. I don't care if you posted the video or not, you linked to it twice. Linking to profanity isn't any different from entering it in your post.
If we see it again, you're done here. If this is the kind of whiny bitch stuff you want to post in the employee forum, we'll shut it down. Offering constructive criticism is one thing. Being a bridge burning whiny moron of a disgruntled employee is sad and pathetic.
Move along now.
