Holy crap was that crowded!

That is certainly pretty cool, and exciting if you ask me. In previous years, they've only stayed open for entire October weekends (meaning, even if the 31st were on Saturday, the park would be closed that weekend because Sunday was the 1st of November). You won't hear any opposition from me. :)

And based on attendance this year (even though it was mostly weather-driven, presumably), this is a smart move, I'd say.

Bring on the 8th whether or not Halloween lands on the weekend or not I say. The weather is almost always nice. Kings Island used to be open the 1st weekend of November. Also, Kalahari is having a Haloween Party on Nov. 2.

This year KI extended the Haunt to Oct. 28-30 7pm-midnight. Some coasters will be running, but it will cost $14.95. I didn't have time to see if SP holders could get in for free or have to pay. Carowinds does the same.

I belive this year your season passes will get you in. But, next year they won't. So take advantage of your opportunity this year.

I know KI has it's own unofficial web site, but since the subject came up, here is the link to "Bare Bones Nights".

I wish CP was open longer! Have fun! :)

I wonder how the Holloween thing is going to do at Kings Island. Do you think that many people will go?
