Holy crap was that crowded!

Um, it would be good for the entire regular season. It pays itself off in 3-4 visits. I'm sure you can squeez that many visits in, if not more during the non-Halloweekends time frame.

Don't expet to get everything handed to you just because you are a season pass holder. More money is made of FunDay tickets anyways..

WOW, Sat the 13th was really crowded. It was CRAZY. I heard several times "record numbers". Great for CP. The Halloweekends has really taken off over the years. I am convinced it is a huge cash cow for them. I wish they would stay open till 10pm on Sundays. It's all about being at the park when it's DARK. I am also convinced now that the park could stay open untill Nov 23rd and we will just flood the place, spend money, ride rides and hope they stay open till Dec.

Good thing you don't run things MIA-Mike. I bet you hate Rich people too. Can't deal with someone that's more 'privileged' than you can you? "Oh you're a season pass holder, you can go anytime'. Season pass holders have just as much right to be in the park as funday ticket holders.

I don't even know numbers of season pass holders, but I'm guessing there's quite a bit of them.

Sorry you had a 'bad' day in a 'crowded' park.

^Well if you are rich at all you would not worry about paying seperate charges for Haloweekends.

Also, I am not sayin sell FunDay tickets for Halloweekends. I am saying sell Haloweekend tickets for Halloweekends. Make it a special event for all.. ;)

As a season pass holder, I would defiinitely be mad if they took off Halloweekends. I don't see why the few changes that come for Halloweekends would justify a different season that wouldn't count for the pass. This argument really makes little sense to me. CP still has those people in the park spending money and perhaps bringing non-pass holders with them.

Yeah, you're special alright MIA-Mike.

The western parks and the previous Paramount parks have been that way for a long time. You won't see CP going to a separate attraction for Halloweekends. If they were losing so much money on season pass holders, as you insinuated, I seriously doubt they would have made it an even better deal for next year.

Stop crying about season pass holders, here's your box of tissues back.

What Loopy said ^

Either way, I did not make it down to the point for any Halloweekends this year, and won't make it down.... But if I was planning on going and had to pay for an extra ticket, I wouldn't have bothered making the trip.

I hope you can't use your Season Pas at Halloweekends next year.. I think it would help out a lot. They need to do something, a lot of people seemed pissed. The waits were unreal and a lot of down rides..

That's a dumb idea.. What makes Halloweekends separate from the regular season?

I used my season pass last night and brought two friends with me that don't have season passes. If it was a separate event there's no way I'm going and there's $80 out of their pockets Cedar Point just lost.
Halloweekends has always been crowded, stop complaining, go get your tissues, and maybe some kettle corn would do you some good also. I wonder if these insane crowds have something to do with the other park down the street not offering its Halloween fun this year...

The fact that it is Halloween makes it not "regular" season.. in my opinion. Now, don't every fanboy/girl get on here and freak out about what I say, which these forums are infamous for.

^You just said they are always crowded, and you said it may be because of Geauga Lake.. which is it. Some people on here who act like you make a day after a bad trip so much better.

OK.

Does that mean that season passes shouldn't be good the first week of July because the fact that it is Independence Day makes it not "regular" season? And are Memorial Day and Labor Day not "regular" season as well.?

This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!

^I was just about to say that, but you beat me to it.

I would say exclude the 4th from season pass holders, maybe give them a discount.

It is time for addmission prices to go up.. it will help filter out the poor part of the crowd and the extra money will make up for their lack of attendance. Its not like they are responsible for in-park spending..

Maybe I would be good at running a place, bholcomb..

With ticket prices going up, that means season passes would go up too.. Please everyone, don't kill... ahhh, the CP gang is after me... run...

I fthey could up the ticket prices and not see a hurt in revenue, don't you think they already would have?

Lack of attendance? But you were just complaining that it was too busy. So busy that season pass holders should be restricted on the use of their passes and so busy that, as stated in another thread, Friday hours should be increased.

I'm confused. All of us with Season Passes should be limited so that the couple of trips you take can be more pleasurable? Poor baby. Did you get your tissues back?

And I'm not really sure what a "fangirl" is, but if it's the opposite of you, I'm flattered.

Is it any better than exaggerated stereotypes or another unimaginative use of "fanboy?" :) I would say it is possible to have a different opinion without being a "freaked out fanboy."

Lack of attendance, as in they will make up for the people who don't show up IF they raise prices. Are you kidding me.. you obviously don't understand.

Alright, I'm done fighing about it because I like these forums and I will fight 'til I leave, so I am done..

Point of the story, Cedar Point is not fun when it is that busy, at all! *** Edited 10/14/2007 9:54:22 PM UTC by MIA-Mike***

What did ya expect when your encouraging the park to take things away from season pass holders? My family paid for 4 regular passes, 3 visits to the resorts, many meals at the park, a few hoodies, & a years worth of saved quarters for the arcade/skill games. How can you think they didn't make money off me. My bank drafts say otherwise. :)

The last two Saturdays I've looked at the webcams bout midday, and holy crap! I've never seen the park so busy. They must be very happy. The park, that is, not so much the customers.

Now, can anyone tell me what the Sundays on these beautiful weekends have been like? I'll be there this Saturday to meet up with some friends late in the day, (I don't care if we ride or not) then Sunday a friend from Cleveland is meeting me there and we'd like to get some things in before we have to split.

Side note- I've been to KI two Sundays this month and the park has been almost empty, save for Nick Universe. (KI has family friendly Nick or Treat on Sunday) Today virtually every adult thrill ride was walk-on all day, and most operated each cycle with empty seats. Sometimes empty trains. Heaven for a rider.

I imagine CP is having busier Sundays. Anyone?
