BAHAHAHA! I would comment on how big of a jerk you are being, BUT I was thinking the same thing. I would also like to point out to anyone on here that was even considering doing this, none of the ride names begin with "the." It's Maverick, not The Maverick, Skyride, not The Skyride...just saying.

im sorry if i come off as a know it all, ive been researchng like crazy trying to get prepared lol! and i like to help others with questions.

It's not about the ride. It's about the crew.

Take it from someone who did it, do NOT use your job/ride assignment as a judge of how much you are going to enjoy your summer.

The truth of it is, every ride in and of itself has its ups and its downs--but it doesn't matter how many buttons you'll be pressing or how tight your loose article policy is. What's going to matter are the people you're working with. Last summer, my crew was my family. They remain some of the best friends I have ever made. They are what made my summer the amazing experience that brought me back for another season. There is no job in the park, no ride location I would have chosen over my crew.

I certainly hope you get the assignment you're hoping for, but trust me this summer is going to be what you make of it.

Raptor12, just because you have read a lot, that does not mean you know everything... until you've actually worked there I suggest you leave the questions about working there to the people that have. Telling newbies wrong information is not going to help anything.

Alright Kelsey, no problem at all sometimes i just get carried away and like to help people i see your point though.

My best advice is to join one of the facebook pages and ask questions on there.

I agree CJ, that was my best source of information last year before the season started. Meeting returners and asking them the questions is the best way to find out for sure what to expect, but things can always change from year to year, but for the most part the returners are going to be where your most reliable information comes from.

How do these interviews go?? Chances of getting hired? Just wondering if anyone knew.

My thing on JobNet just changed saying that my application is currently being reviewed. How long does it usually take before they get back to you with a e-mail/phone call?

Usually a couple of days before you get an email or phone call.

I have a question....i just applied and i wanted to be a ride host....but i think i put in the wrong job prefrence....i was wondering if i could change it somehow.........also i put part time instead of full time b/c i thought full time ment all yr....if i get the interview could i tell them that i want full time position thanx

since you found this thread from 4 years ago, I would search posts to find answers to all your questions, as they've been answered, very recently actually. 😄

Clearly they wanted to use this thread. Nothing wrong with that.
