Yes, there definitely is. I was 17 when I applied my first season, and I turned 18 about 2 weeks before I came to the park. Because you will be 18 before the park opens, there will be no problem when you process in, because you will not be 17 anymore.

Honestly i have no idea what to apply for. Any suggestions? I would do anything to get away from my parents for a summer and this seemed like a good idea. Dont you need special training before you go if you want to operate the rides? I would be fine with being the person who goes and checks the seatbelts. Other then that i have no idea.
The best thing to do, is put that you're ok with any position in the park, this will give you the best chance of getting hired. You do have 3 choices, and can choose what department you'd like to be in first and then go from there. I'm in merchandise, and I really like it. Like everyone has said, you shouldn't have a problem with housing, since you'll be 18 by the time you process in. Good Luck!

So I just submitted my application. I emailed HR and they emailed me back about housing telling me to finish my application and we can figure out the housing thing later. I said i wanted to be a ride host, a lifeguard, or a costumed character. I also said i would take any job they could give me. Hopefully i'll hear back from them soon and be an employee of Cedar Point!
Good Luck , Rides is not that bad, just very warm and you look like a lobster at the end of summer especially if you work a flat ride.

Witches Wheel has a 54 inch height requirement, I don't care if your child rode Dragster, Magnum or, Millenium, they are not tall enough for this one!
