Man, that would be totally awesome if they could put Intamin style T-bars on Magnum. I'm sure the bad thing about them is a combination seat design and lapbar design. So, if implemented properly, there wouldn't be a GOES (guests of exceptional size) issue on Magnum since the cars are more enveloping. I still think that's one of the best lapbar designs out there as far as comfort goes.

LOL.
If you really have that much of an issue with Magnum, there are two solutions (and I use one of them and have no problems.)
1) Tighten the seat-belt (this is my preferred solution). Go ahead and pull it as tight as it will go. Unlike other coasters, the belt on Magnum is the primary and the lap bar the back up. So pull that sucker as tight as you can, and it will keep your legs from hitting the lap bar.
2) Stay off the ride.

I don't really have a problem with Magnum. I just LOVE Intamin's hydraulic restraints. The whole infinite "stop points" is perfect for a coaster. I think the "clicking" ones are antiquated.
Anything is possible, so yes, Magnum could be retrofitted with the hydraulic restraints - even if they had to build new trains. However, it most likely will never happen. The cost of that retrofit would not be worth any potential gains. So, unless there was a safety issue with the current setup, that restraint isn't going anywhere.
It'd be cool if Mantis and Raptor had the hydraulic restraints too. Same restraint, just with the hydraulic part.
By the way, I know this won't happen. Just saying what if. :)

^^..Yes it is.and on Magnum the should ge the lapbars like similar too Milly's so it wouldnt be so painful cause i know for me when i go over those airtime hills my thighs are always red when i get off from the steel parts of the lapbar. It may be because im skinny idk but it hurts. and it would be awesome to get airtime hills..that dont hurt!..other than that i think Magnum is a great ride. Just thought i would point that out.
Consider yourself lucky its only your thighs that are red and sore - as opposed to other things in that general area
While I really don't see it happening, Magnum could really use some new trains. It could make it quite a bit more comfortable in my opinion.
And there are a ton of great coasters out there, and although CP has a few great ones, I'd agree a lot of other parks have recently entered my favorites list.
