For those who don't know already. There is a 10pm episode as well. It is the Utah episode (a portion of which was filmed at Lagoon). After this week I believe it will only be one episode per week airing a 10pm.

Any of the posters from this site make it on the show?
"I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks." - Pete Babic (RIP)
"The joint on the site of the old antique cars is the tits." - Jeff Putz
so when did MF entrance = Wicked Twister? hahaha... just one of the many things wrong ...

Haha.. yeah everytime he said he was walking to a certain coaster it was in the complete wrong direction. Nevertheless it was a pretty good show! Did they somehow purposely make his train on Dragster roll back? It seemed really coincidental otherwise.
apparently WT has a higher capacity now 2 train op ;)

Where was the Maverick? Lol. You would think that they would show that ride but it seem like they ignored it. It was sad to see all the halloweeknds stuff in the backgound. For a halloween special Bert need to come back to conquer the haunted attractions at Cedar Point. It seem like the show should of been a hour long.
It was entertaining, but pardon me while I put on my Cedar Point "dork" cap and ask a few questions...
1. Did they make up the "Fearsome Foursome Challenge" for the show? Did they get the idea based on a t-shirt that already existed in the gift shops? ;)
2. I'm assuming he was skipping the lines on all the coasters. I found it interesting that he only had around 5 minutes left when he got off of MF and still made it to Dragster.
3. Why were there random shots of another Huss Giant Frisbee (Delirium?) during the maXair segment? It seemed like they had plenty of stock footage of maXair itself?
4. It seems like they did segments on some other rides and didn't include them. I noticed some of the rider reactions were at exits of other rides (Power Tower, etc..)
5. I also noticed that when Bert was trying to get from Magnum to WT, he ended up back by Maverick... Found that humorous...
6. For those that were there for the filming. I know that he did some filming when the park was empty. I assume the coaster scenes themselves were filmed during these times, and the crowd scenes were filmed at a different time?
7. Is Bert truly afraid of the rides, or is that just part of the "schtick" for the show?
I realize the average viewer would never notice these things, and could care less about them. I just figured I'd mention them since this is a forum for CP fans. Overall, despite a bit of cheesiness, it was a fairly entertaining show...

** Yes, the "Fearsome Foursome Challenge" was created for the show, but at the shoot they made it sound like something to be implemented in the future for park guests.
2. I'm assuming he was skipping the lines on all the coasters. I found it interesting that he only had around 5 minutes left when he got off of MF and still made it to Dragster.
** It's "movie magic" :)
3. Why were there random shots of another Huss Giant Frisbee (Delirium?) during the maXair segment? It seemed like they had plenty of stock footage of maXair itself?
** I didn't catch this, but your guess is as good as mine. I am sure they had plenty of stock footage of everything with a 4 day shoot.
4. It seems like they did segments on some other rides and didn't include them. I noticed some of the rider reactions were at exits of other rides (Power Tower, etc..)
** Yes, there was footage filmed of Power Tower and some was shown, but the majority was probably cut due to time limitations.
5. I also noticed that when Bert was trying to get from Magnum to WT, he ended up back by Maverick... Found that humorous...
** Yes, any true Cedar Point fan caught this and many other little things here and there, but remember the production company and crew is located in New York, so they wouldn't know any better.
6. For those that were there for the filming. I know that he did some filming when the park was empty. I assume the coaster scenes themselves were filmed during these times, and the crowd scenes were filmed at a different time?
** All on-ride footage with Bert was taped during exclusive hours due to the fact that cameras had to be mounted, which in turn caused down time. Although, the majority of crowd scenes during the challenge were taken during park hours.
7. Is Bert truly afraid of the rides, or is that just part of the "schtick" for the show?
** After spending 4 days with the man and even riding near him on some of the rides all I can say is that his reactions are priceless and tell-all. Could he be adding a little? Yes, but you could definitely tell he was nervous before riding.

^^ I agree with you 100%. You said everything that I was going to. Haha
Glad to hear that his reactions are at least somewhat real. I was skeptical until the rollback on Dragster. That was the only part of the show that made me actually laugh out loud a bit.

The rollback was pretty funny...as was the overall show.....both how it was edited and Bert himself (who is a hilarious stand up comedian). I'm a little saddened that the Power Tower shots didn't make it (since I was in them) but I understand the whole time crunch deal. Guess the Skyhawk part was shorter than Power Tower's which made it in the time frame.
I liked the aspect of the challenge even though, realistically, there's no way a film crew could do all that in less than an hour considering the route the editing suggested they took from ride to ride ;). However, it was still a funny touch to the show and I enjoyed it for the most part.
But I guess it was the enthusiast side of me that ultimately made the show a bit frustrating. :)

I found a couple of my friends in the show, most notably the blond girl who rode next to Bert on Dragster. There's a guy who posts here on rare occasions who was prominently in one of the Magnum station shots. I watched the episode that was filmed in Utah as well, and definitely enjoyed both episodes. Hopefully the show will do well.

I agree! I'd definitely like to see him invited back for a Halloweekends challenge. :)

This was filmed in one of the last weeks of last season. It was very cold. I was the only one wearing shorts. I know, I'm crazy. The roll backs was real. And in fact when you see him saying "Oh God, Oh God, Oh God" it was a near stall. The train seemingly stopped for about 3 seconds. I have a video that I can now post since the show has now aired. I won't have time to get to it until at least Friday though.
Because there were several minutes between each ride cycle to check the footage, he ended up getting a roll back on every cycle. There was at least 1 double roll back as well. As I am rarely in line for Dragster first thing in the morning on cold days, I had never gotten a roll back until this shoot.

The show had interesting editing techniques to make it the show more entertaining and to fit it in to a 22 minute episode.
I did find the show entertaining, if he's successful there will be a weekly show geared towards ride enthusiasts.
Yet, what does one need to do to get on the invite list for events like this?
Thanks - J
This week was mostly riding, though not every week will be. He's been log rolling, catfish noodling, he did something at an arcade in New Hampshire with an arcade game record holder (i forget the game).Though it does seem that parks will be the highlight. Other parks being filmed include, Dollywood, Canobie Lake, Busch Gardens Tampa, Carowinds, Six Flags New England, Wisconsin Dells. There are more, I just can't remember them all. Plus they haven't all been announced yet.
