Hats allowed while working?

I just skipped the sweatshirt all together. If I was cold I put on my blue suit. I figured if I paid like $60 for that thing I was going to make good use of it.

It all depends on where you're working and what it's like in your area of the park. There were a couple days that I wore both my sweatshirt and blue suit.

Plus they're comfy and relatively inexpensive.. You might as well get one just in case.

I thought the sweatshirt was a great deal. I liked it as an alternative to the blue suit because the blue suit was just too bulky.

A lot of people just get a rain suit. There cheaper then a blue suit and you can wear whatever you want underneath it. As long as your outer most layer is Cedar Point issued, you can have on whatever you want to keep you warm. It’s a lot cheaper that way. Twenty-one dollars is the price of a rain suit I think. It beats the $60 for a blue suit which are not nearly as good as the older ones they use to sell. *** Edited 1/18/2006 3:11:15 AM UTC by 99er***

We weren't allowed to wear rain suits because our location was an "indoor location", or so we were told. I guess having 3 walls and a counter classifies it at as an indoor location, even with no heat or air conditioning.

I think I spent something like $75 between my rain suit and my blue suit. Those were the only things I bought from wardrobe all summer. I think I'm gonna have to buy a new rain suit this year though, mine disappeared like the last week of the season. I only have pants now, and that's just not gonna cut it if I have to go from Millennium to Pagoda whenever it rains. Hopefully I get Dragster this year instead and only have to run to Speed Zone and bail water instead ;).

See, I don't think it should matter. Rain suit or blue suit? Maybe it has to do with getting more people to buy those expensive suits?

Does anyone have a picture of the Rain Suit and The Blue suit?

Thanks

The blue suit isnt water proof but it will work if the rain isnt outragious...but the rain suit works pretty good but is cheap and will rip. I ended up buying both its not a big deal. You will want to wear ur blue suit when its cold out and wont rain because it looks better then those intense uniforms lol.

Here is the blue suit without the embroidered logo. They sell matching nylon pants to go along with it.

I can't find the exact rain suit that Cedar Point sells, but it looks very similar to this one.

The rain suit is made of vinyl and doesn't breathe, so its not something I would personally want to wear for any length of time. The blue suits are much more comfortable and warmer than the rain suits, but make sure you try them on at Wardrobe before you buy them as they run VERY small.

That is the rain suit. You can also see it here:

http://www.stearnsinc.com/Recreation/NC_ProductsList.aspx?selection=&CategoryID=7544693

Sterns makes it and you can see at that site that we get a good deal on the price. I wish they still had the old rain suits that had Cedar Point on it.

Ride photo is right though, they don’t breath and I hate wearing mine for a long period of time when its warm out. But if you do work in a location that allows you to wear your rain suit when ever you want, like rides, and you don’t want to spend money on a blue suit, just get a rain suit and wear your own sweatshirt underneath. It’s a lot cheaper that way.

You mean that they are tighter fitting?

I don't know if I would say they are tight, they just seem small overall. The jacket is rather short and I constantly had problems with the side zipper coming up or the whole jacket just not staying down at my waist where it should be. They need to be about 2-3" longer than what they are.

You can try one on at Wardrobe before you buy it to make sure it's a good fit. The jacket and the pants come seperate too, so you can get the one that fits you best.

The ladies at Wardrobe will make you model pretty much everything for them to make sure that you are getting the right size so that you look presentable to Cedar Fair standards. They don't want you to have shorts that sag down to your ankles or a jacket that is 3 sizes too big.

They only have you model so that they can have a fashion show lol.

Last year when I processed in they had me model a large uniform shirt and let me have it. 3 weeks later I modeled the medium and the same person was like, thats sooo much better. 3 weeks later, I modeled the small, and they were like, PERFECT!
