I'm an old school type of lifter. I couldn't see paying 42$ (but I will anyway ha) a month when I never use machines, elipticals, etc...
Arnold didn't use them back then and I won't either.

So you won't use a bicep curl preacher or a tricep extention just because? lols...If they do have the precor AMT there...give it a try on resistance 18...You'll get a workout, & even a good cardio workout
Here's the thing with the costs too...It probably included the tanning costs...Thats another fee...The security fee...The keyfob fee...And the initial fee...It's roughly a buck a day for me or so...But regardless...125 for three months of a very premier gym...Why are people complaining..It's clean, nice, and you get alot...If you use their website anytime health...You get uber discounts...I got a 52g protein shake...tub...Can't remember the size, it's good enough for a shake a day though...And it was 10 bucks
Barbells and dumbells are pretty much all I use and all anyone really needs. I use the cable machine for pulldowns and that's pretty much it.
I go through bodybuilding.com for my supps. I usually have 4-5 shakes a day so it wouldn't last me long lol. And I buy more then just whey, so I would never use their website to get anything.

Ok everyone...regarding costs...here's the breakdown..
This is all of the fees asociated w/ the gym.
Membership Dues
Tanning Dues
Security Access keys
Anytime Health Membership Fee
Club Enrollment Fee
Sales Tax
Club Enhancement Fee
I had a coupon at the time of enrollment that I received when I moved to this area so alot of initial fees were waived...my membership was from 03/17/11 and until 05/08/11. I really only paid 50 bucks, and that was for the membership...Tax was 3.25...so I paid 53.25 alltogether for that timeframe. The coupon waived the tanning, security access, anytime health membership, club enrollment, and enhancement fee....So yes it does seem more expensive, however most of the fees associated w/ the three month deal are all upfront costs...
So all in all, I paid 50 dollars for 52 days of membership, so that makes it 1.04 a day for the gym.
Regardless of price as well, you can sign up for a 14 day trial to see what you think of the place first off too, so you get 14 days right off the bat free of charge...You just need to make sure you speak to the owners first once you get your 14 day trial e-mail
