I'm coming back for my 6th season.Got my contract this week. I'll be returning to the beach gate on Friday and Saturday. Can't wait to see everyone again.Sound like we will have a lot of new ones this year. I hope that I get a chance to meet them. Keep in touch.

Does anyone know how many people are hired for the guest service's host position? What is a typical work day like with this position? And what do the uniforms look like?

Caroline, your work day will very. There are a couple of different locations that could determine your hours including Lost Persons, Freeway, and other admissions locations. I'm not completely sure how many hours my crew averaged last year, I'm sure Jason or Weezie could tell you. The uniform for girls was a blue skirt or pants and a dressy shirt with blue pinstripes. There is a tie involved, either a small short one (I don't know what its called) or a regular necktie. Feel free to e-mail if you want more speciffics.

Lee, yeah I've know about it for awhile (do you not get the e-mails I send you?). Nancy and I will be there.

I "officially" begin Monday, April 28th so I could be working as early as that afternoon depending on what is needed. I know Carla will be there by then; she starts in mid-March helping out in the Ticket Office. I'm not sure when Nicole starts, but I'm sure she'll be there, too.

Tyler, do you know if we are supposed to process in during the Sup. seminar? I'm trying to plan ahead as far as when I should drive down there...whether I want to go Friday night or EARLY Saturday morning. The logistics of a 6-hour drive are interesting to say the least!

i'm going to miss you guys this summer, it was fun but i won't miss it too much...waitressing is my job, i LOVE it, i do it at home so why not make a ton of money doing it at cedarpoint?.....have fun and you'll probably see me passing through marina gate or even resort gate quite a few times......;) oh and i process in on may 11th...see ya then!

Our hours increased a lot towards the end of August, when everyone else left to go back colleges etc (the joys of term not starting til Oct 13th). At the start of my contract I worked about 50-55 hours a week, but was working 70ish the last few weeks. During the peak season it depended on if you were closing LP or if you were suppossed to be 9-5 (once surveys were finished it was home). Last year there was 13 for most of the season on the crew (2 were part time though), including Nancy.
