greatest moment

Another great moment was working at the Pet Farm, watching the baby animals grow during the season and being in charge of their well being. I love animals and I love working with livestock so this past summer was a blast. One of the best times was when the animals arrived, and getting a chance to name them was fun. Also I loved running around in the back pasture with the goats while the guests watched them romp.

A little side note though, never piss off a turkey they'll hate ya for life. Believe me that sucker hated me from day one. LOL, anyone that knew any one last year from pet farm or knew our crazy turkey would understand. ;-)

I wonder if TTD employees will ever get to go up to the top of the tower. It would be sooooo cool if we did. Well I speak for myself many of my co-works might not think it would be as cool.

Highly doubt it.
Labor Day 02. The 4 Goodyear blimps doing flying over the park. How often do you get a chance to see that. ;)

I loved those nights when I'd get to do the closing track walk, because usually Soak City was closed, and so I felt all alone back there, just me and Maggie. A pure Zen moment, if there ever was one.

OMG!!! Closing trackwalks scared the crap outta me. It took me most of the season to realize that i could really just change the locks and wait over near soak city where it wasnt so scary (whoops! whatever.)

The lift walks were pretty neat, going into the tunnel was the worst. And, um yah having people cheer when we walked the ppl down after our fun little thingamabobber made me feel like a moviestar. But, woohoo, now i know one (jodi ;) )

hehe

actually, u know i was reading the guiness book of world records. Some guy is in there for, i dont know the exact definition, something like riding the most amount of rollercoaster track in the shortest amount of time. Something like 25,000 ft in 42 mins. Whatever!!! ANY coaster worker at CP should so be in the guiness book of world records. Maybe we should write a letter. heh.

The entire MF crew from last year in May should have beaten that out easily....22 times during one test ride session in early may....i dont know how long that is but wow it seemed like it took 6 hrs to do that, and to boot it was very very cold and wet out....lol

I'm glad that the Maggie lift held so many good memories for you all as it did for me. The day that we had our big walkdown in 02 was a special day for me because of what happened afterward. Remember how we all sat in a circle and gave each other a backrub? I felt that was a definite crew bonding moment.

This is not a "great" moment, but something I saw that I couldn't believe: Bryan running down the catwalk to lift and safetys during a setup and totally wiping out. I was on spiels, but I was speechless. "Stiches" will remain in my memory however.

Prank of the summer: Shari and the ride pride trying to convince me that she had hurt herself b/c she had "blood" all over her face. Again I was speechless, except when I was asking Mike if he thought she was okay. Unbeknownst (sp?) to me, he was in on the joke and was playing dumb. After my heart rate returned to normal, I thought it was a pretty good joke. Still didn't know what to say though!

I also loved all the one-liners that came out of our trips to B-W3's
"I peed in a funeral home parking lot!"
"Wave at the Magnum train coming over the bridge!"
"Okay everyone...act straight and sober."

Or the line of the summer: "Just because you play Rollercoaster Tycoon....."

I love you all and will miss everyone from the three years I worked at the Point, but I do intend to visit sometime this summer!

My greatest moment came yesterday.. When all my work on Dragster went off without a hitch and a few of the higher ups personally thanked me for all my work.

It doesn't get any better than that.. Plain and simple..

Wow so many great memories from the Point. One of my favorites was the Wicked Twister Welcome Party last year where, let's just say the Domino effect took place. :-)

What is the "Domino effect"?
When there is a row of two or more objects and the one falls causing the others to fall one by one right after another.

While being the first to ride Raptor (after the auction riders) and being in the front row was pretty great, nothing could beat my wife saying yes to my proposal. That was my greatest moment at CP.
The first toga party I ever went to.
greatest cp moment: when my little brother got soaked on snake river falls and then dried himself off with a toilet seat cover from the restroom. he thought they were towels.
