Gold Dorm Questions

Hmmmm.... After reading all the horrors of the on campus dorms threads the past year, I think I am going to go for living there. Seems to be convience of on point winning me over

Keith - You can't live in Gold because it's female only. However, you can live in Cedars, which is male only and on point.

Caroline - Yes you can hook up a tv. Me and my roommate bought an antenna from Meijer's for like $10 or so, it was one that would get higher and lower receptions better. My roommate had a 19 - inch TV and it didn't take up too much room. We had it on top of one of our dressers. We had a computer, a TV, VCR, laptop, refridgerator, and window air-conditioning unit. Even with the "big stuff" we had enough room to move around. I DEFINATELY ADVISE that you get a window AC unit. That goes for ANYONE living in any of the dorms w/out AC, definately get one! It is well worth the money! :-)

no there arent any cable hook ups.

It can't be that bad, can it? I live in a cramped college dorm, so it can't be much worse than that, can it??? Also, does anyone know if the floors are carpeted or not?

Shanna, all of the floors in gold are non carpeted except for the hallway it has a strech of old carpet that goes from one end of the hall to the other.
