Gemini 100 this year??

This is a little off of marathoning a particular ride, but how about attempting to ride every flat ride in the park on a given day, or even every ride? Just an idea (as if we need more).

I agree that a Sunday should be the day of the event, possibly Sunday, June 9th?

I do not think that any of us Gemini 100 "Survivors" had any intention of making this a yearly ordeal. I gotta go with the other survivors here-I was SO sick of Gemini by the time we were done I didnt even want to see it again the rest of the season. The best rides were the first 10, and the LAST one.....11-99 stunk!! :)
Besides the Gemini 100 has already been conquered-to do Gemini again it would have to be the Gemini 101 or 125.
As for a PT marathon-any of my buds here know exactly how much I "love" PT so it's going to be hard to get me to ride that thing once never mind more than once!! I might have to have a beer or 2 with Rob before you can convince me to do that thing!! I am not so sure about being able to do the 100 though-anyone know the capacity?
Count me in I guess what ever you decide (NO spin and pukes though for me) and Sam and I will be there!

Anybody that tries to marathon MS past 20-25 on a slow day is either asking for a heart attack, or is the star athelete of the cross country team. :)

I think a Monday, like last year, would be ideal.  Sunday is still a little more crowded than Monday.  Last year, myself and my now girlfriend (That day was our first "date") were able to ride everything with short lines, except MF.  But even then, it wasn't much more than 1 hour all day, including waiting for the front seat, if I remember.  It may have been another weekend that we went when you could wait.

ucsigep, throughout the season Sundays were much less crowded than Mondays.  The Monday we did the Gem 100 was definitely more crowded than the day before it.  I remember some days running two trains all day on Sundays on Mine Ride, and it was the only day all week that we'd only run two because of crowd concentration.

Really?  Didn't know that one.  I tried to avoid weekends at all costs.  Maybe since I'm living closer now, I'll head up for a few Sundays... :)  Thanks for the insight, Natalie!

I would much rather have it on a Sunday, not just because they are slightly less crowded but (and I think I speak for more than just myself) also because a lot of schools are still in session at that time and that eliminates a lot of us that would love to be there but have to go to school.  Sure, you could skip, but that's just not something I would do (especially since it will probably be a day of finals...).  I really wanted to do the Gemini 100 last year but I had to go to school.
