I think we should do another big marathon but on a different ride - I remember some ideas for Magnum and others...

I can do a Magnum marathon in my sleep, we need to pick a ride that has a close entrance and exit and a ride were we can interact with each other.

lol that'd be fun for us DT fans!
but seriously, maybe a magnum 100, (i'm young i can take it) or maybe even (if the lines were short enough) raptor 50 or something like that, but of course we can't even guess what days would not be busy, especially on that ride.
it'd be fun though

Dan can vouch that a Magnum 100 is out of the question - not only would 100 rides be VERY hard to achieve, but even if you are young and in good shape, it would be very hard to last - much harder than Gemini.
If we couldn't find a good coaster to do it on, why not Power Tower? Although it might get a little boring eventually, and I guess it's hard to interact on...
Hmmm - what about Blue Streak? Not too fast but still exciting, short lines, and a close entrance/exit.

By the time MM hit I had 82 laps the very first night and I did it in 6 hours, I could have hit 100 that night if the ride didn't go down three times. After that night I felt great and could have done another 82.
My vote goes for Corkscrew!

As far as marathon rides go, Blue Streak is very good for a SMALL group, but only running two trains maximum has its limitations if your group starts to get big enough. I managed 50 rides in about 4 hours on it one day, but as Dan will attest, solo marathons are certainly easiest. I doubt I'll be attending CP enough this year to do the marathon thing this year, so I'm out, no matter what, but I wish any future marathoners luck, and if I have one piece of advice about it, it's to ask Anne and Rob about drinking alcohol the morning of a marathon and then drinking water all day and its effects and ability to make you look like you've done 1857651 laps when you're only on about number 50.

But was it all real fun?"
