He means that he asked T&T to take pictures from the top of Dragster.
I was stupid enough to try doing that(yes I know it was an incredibly stupid and retarded thing to do). The train pulled up to launch position and I had my camera slightly pulled out of my pocket. At the last minute I knew it wasnt going to work so I tried to stuff it back into my pocket, but the belt was preventing me from doing it....that's when I had noticed that we were taking too long to launch. Then one of the ride ops came out of the station and warned me to put it away. I apologized and put it in the only place I could....in between my pants. I was lucky, but I felt horrible the whole day...like I had betrayed Cedar Point. I still feel bad to this day. I know better now. So if anyonw wants to call me stupid go ahead, I know it was a very stupid thing to attempt. :( *** Edited 2/14/2006 2:51:07 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

To get a real clue as to what might be going on in the WWL area, we need a 24-hour spy in Sandusky to monitor the causeway for cement trucks, starting sometime around late March/April
If anyone see's a line of about 70 of them, then we'll have something concrete to go on. ;) (Sorry, couldn't resist it).
Until then, speculate away.
Steve
What we need to do is put a webcam in a tree that's located on the causeway and keep an eye out for(like you said Steve) suspicious amounts of concrete trucks,...flatbed trucks bringing in track, etc.;)

Where do you think they will store the "parts" for the new ride? I doubt any would even arrive before late late next season, but do you think they will keep them in Soak City's lot like for Skyhawk? It was sure empty enough to store a large amount of stuff in. Just curious. Wasnt track for TTD spotted near Gemini the year before it was built?
Track for Top Thrill Dragster was first spotted in August 2002.
Far as the new Fright Zone being located on TTD midway, it prolly wouldn't fly for some of the above reasons, but also locating a Fright Zone there would virtually cut off the rest of the park. Only walking ways to get to Frontier Town and the Gemini Midway is through the Frontier Trail or the TTD midway. If the TTD midway did have a new Fright Zone, many people don't like those attractions, especially younger kids, and therefore they would be cut off from the back. Of course, they and others who would really want to avoid the areas could always ride the train, but that tends to be somewhat of an inconvience.
Trip Count 2003: 13 2004: 24 2005: 22 2006: 25 2007: 25
July 5, 1999 - it was officially announced a couple of weeks later.
MF was the longest ride (in length) CP ever built. It would be better to compare the construction to the smaller rides which were all started in September.
TTD came in mid to late August. WT came after the season ended.
