Gee nothing is going on, leave us alone!

I do believe the pouring of TTD's massive footers in April was due to the foundation spreading out into the midway. All we see today is the very tip of the footer, but there's a lot more going on underneith the grass surounding the footers.

^ so true not funny. but like i had said im just saying that it seems like they are droping an awful lot of clues. and was stating it is a possiblility how ever not likely at all. I have hopes but not many at all. Plus i wanted to see what others thought of the idea of getting two rides in one year.

Also demon dropin' is probably right but we cannot confirm it unless someone goes and drives up there if they are staying at a resort or goes up to the marina! Again what i said was theoretical

Yay for selective grammar. No offense, but it's difficult to read.

I know i know. i should proof read but im lazy sorry!!!!!!!!!!1

If the new 2007 ride will be "big," then the most likely explanation is they'll be pouring footers during (this) off-season.

Don't try to find them when the park opens in May. They'll be well-hidden by then. It will allow them to start serious construction as soon as the park closes in Oct though.

Yes they will. But they have to mark them some how!!! So we will most likely be able to see. Or at least thoes of us that make a special effort to see! That is if there are even footers but there better be!!!

Just the last thing here is im sick of flat rides!!! Give us a Coaster already!!

I'm thinking that the only way to know...is to drive to CP and go down Perimeter Road and take a look for yourself.

It'll be exciting to see that "Building for the Future" wall go up. *** Edited 2/10/2006 9:28:00 PM UTC by CPking1027***

cedarpoint24/7 - They could very well have already marked some of them, not all the markings all over WWL last season necessarily had to pertain to its removal...;)

CPking1027 - You can't go down Perimeter Road that far during the offseason, there's a guard at the gate by the marina that will make you turn around.

too true!!!!!!!! If im not mistaken thats where skyhawk is right now right?(where the markings were last year right)

Though I'm sure some of us will either peek over, or figure out that if you turn your head to the left while going up Mean Streak's lift hill, you'll see it all.

They're building stuff in the bay? Sweet! ;)

Wow, I really wasn't thinking there. It would be your other left. :)

Or you could just look to the left three times. ;)

Didn't you guys hear? They tore WWL down for a mega Fright Zone area....

I'm probably the only one on this site that would be increadibly excited if that were really the case. I am happy to hear about the new third zone coming this year. You won't find me in the new one though. Long live the (original) Fright Zone!

^I'll go on the biggest, scariest, fastest coaster ever built, but you'll have a hard time getting me into any kind of haunted attraction. I've gone to Halloweekends 7 out of the 10 years it has been going on and I've only been through 3 of the haunted houses. I just can't see the fun in knowing someone is going to scare the crap out of me.

What you do is take your girlfriend, sister, or another female relative/friend through the haunted house, walk behind them, and make it obvious that you can't be scared easily and let the screamsters in front of you to get the other person(s) with you. That's what I did when my mom and I went through Pharoh's Secret, and it was pretty hilarious.

But back to the subject of T&T, I wonder if they'll take my suggestion of getting some pictures of the underside of TTD's trains? (Look back one or two blogs in the comments section)

Add me to that roster.:)

And I was thinking about a possible new area for a type of Fright Zone(seeing that we seem to be talking about it) and I think doing something on the Dragster Midway would be neat. Imagine, the entire area dark, blanketed in fog. The theme could be a "Haunted Dragster(top fuel)Graveyard" that has the screamsters dressed as dead racers with mangled Dragsters cars scattered around the midway. But I think the coolest thing would be riding Dragster. You pull up into launch position in complete fog. You feel that something isn't right (aka- the rollback into the sled) and you see the lights pierce through the fog and your off!! You burst out of the fog and up the tower......How cool would that be!!??:)

The only problem is that I think too much condensation from the fog could pose a problem for Dragster. But still, it's a cool idea. *** Edited 2/13/2006 3:29:02 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Are you telling me the GP dosen't know what the rollback into the sled is, "WTF it's rolling backwards?!?"

I saw somewhere that some people think TTD launch's by air! (The sounds the brakes make is like PT...)

We don't ALWAYS go for the easily scared ones, Blue Streak. Sometimes the guys trying to hang behind their women are the most rewarding scares out there. ;)

As for a zone on the TTD midway, it would be cool, but not likely to happen. When they place the zones, they try to place them in locations where a)no/few rides and attractions are contained within them and b) in places that are fairly easy to go around for those who choose to avoid them. Fog interacting too much with the rides is also a factor (there have been some funny stories in the break room about mistakes with fog in years past). I think most of you guys will like the location/theme of the new zone, I know I do.

Ok, enough rambling, back to studying....

Well I dont think all of them know how Dragster even works. I heard over a dozen people (in one hour while waiting in line) wondering how it works. I told about 8 of those people how it worked, since they were near me. I explained how the motors and accumulators worked, how the cable is pulled, the sled, etc.....you know, the basics.:)

Heck my sis didnt know....and I usually talk her ear off about it. When the dog chain(I think thats what it's called) dropped into the sled and made that clicking sound, she turned back to me and she said "What was that?!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!!". I said, "Dont worry, just turn around!!!":)

Incredibly bad idea. From the top, you'll probably be back at unload in 10 or 15 seconds. CP really doesn't like it when people have their cameras out on rides, especially on Dragster (with its loose article policy, you shouldn't have had a camera in the first place). If the crew ever sees it, security is usually called and is grounds for ejection from the park.
