Dude I am not spreading it at all. This came from very good friends who LIVED at cedars last year. I personally don't care if the stuff goes on. More power to them! heh

well, if the bath rooms do have holes... more fun for me... J/K!!!!!!!! im not like that. and genevieve is just voicing her opinion, and what she might thinks she knows. i respect her for that... and yes i am gay... but thats not WHO i am. i dont lead the typical gay life, and alot of other gay men dont eaither. i started this post to get feedback on how accepting people are of the gay lifestyle at cp, so i knew what i had to face uppon comming to CP. i have never been called a faggot by anybody, and i have never been discriminated against, and i have been out for 2 years... since i was 16 years old. i just wanted to know if i was gonna have to put up with **** at CP. and yes i was exaggerating about 99.9% at disney... but face it... there are alot of gay people who work at disney. sorry, i had to vent... :)

There appears to be a ton of gay folks at Disney for a couple of reasons. First off, statistics say that between 10-20% of people are gay. I'm not sure I agree but if it is true then between 6,500 to 13,000 of the 65,000 Disney cast members are gay and that is a lot of people.

The reason you know more about those that are out at Disney is because the company makes it comfortable for you to be out, even offering partner benefits now if I am not mistaken.

You will find a similar working environment at Cedar Point. Being gay doesn't make you a target and more kids feel comfortable "coming out" as a result.

As a side note I once had a teacher who was gay but not out who was often teased by the students. One day a group of 8 or so jocks were sitting at a table when they started in on him. He said, "you know, statistics say that 1 out of every 4 athletes is gay...which two of you is it?" One of the funniest things I have ever heard. But, I digress.

Haha, that's the funniest thing I've heard. Bet it shut them up!

I suggest watching the movie "Edge of Seventeen"...so far, I haven't seen another movie about gay amusement park employees. Also, this movie was filmed at CP & the surrounding area.

Hecka cash? Well some people do but the vast majority do not. If you are at Friday's you are one of the lucky few.

do they really make that much money at fridays?...see i work at eat'n'park at home here in PA....and i'm used to making atleast 60 a night and even more on the weekends...
