Gatekeeper Testing.

That post was when everyone, including you, was asking about the timeline. Plus that wasn't even leaked info. Back when gatekeeper was announced that was already shared. Everyone do your research before you ask questions. Since that post I haven't leaked important info, so there's no reason to get upset again. Especially over a "most likely".

At the tour yesterday we learned that electric for GateKeeper had been completed. I'd think that testing would begin within the next several weeks. I can't wait for this thing to fly!

I believe it was stated their current goal date was April 3rd, but it is a working construction timeline so it could be changed.

Now that you mention that I think I remember hearing something about that too. That sounds pretty reasonable as long as no issues come up. COUGH *weather* COUGH

Can't believe everyone is so critical. We're not even on topic. Sorry I thought raptor ran 2 trains, it's not the end of the world haha. I only get construction facts. Plus I live in Ny so I don't get out to Sandusky very often. Everyone has to cool down

This winter has been strange. It doesn't seem to want to end. Hope it starts to warm up soon.

As long as it decides to warm up by the time I get up there in May haha. I don't feel like the weather will delay things with Gatekeeper since the majority of construction is done. I hope for testing to start very soon!

Umm......yes? Well, it's definitely "wrong" when you post information that shouldn't be and continue to say things that are, apparently, not going well with CP officials.

I think its a problem that members on this site are badgering a person who has done nothing wrong and only because he has a stigma or "eyes on him" or people judge the fact that he asks questions (on a blog where questions should allowed to be asked) he must be wrong.

The real problem is not being able to understand why there is badgering in the first place. He HAS done stuff that is being frowned upon by the park and continues to say things that could be still confidential. Understand that this is going beyond the remark regarding the pov videos.

To Adam's point, when people do stupid things online, it has a tendency to harm the relationship between the park and the online world. One day you're doing off-season tours, the next you fall out of favor because some dumbass can't play by the rules. And for what? So the dude can be an attention whore with 13-year-olds dripping off his every word? Yeah, that's totally worth it.

Absolutely right. If you have information that hasn't been publicly released consider yourself lucky and keep your mouth shut and your hands off the keyboard. There is a reason CP has a PR department and there is a reason the PR department releases certain information at specific times.

The Pointbuzz season preview tours are great and to have these continue we need to be viewed by the park as friends of the park, not a pain in the ass. I wasn't able to attend this year because of plans for St Patrick's Day weekend, and because it turns out I'm still hobbling around on crutches because of a skiing mishap. But, I'd like to see this tour continue next year and beyond. Everyone needs to respect the park's wishes.

That great relationship that the park has with Jeff and Walt and this website is the reason why PointBuzz has much more access to the park than other CP fan sites. And the respect that Jeff and Walt have for the park is what keeps PointBuzz from being like other fan sites like that OMG CP is freaking awesome facebook page from awhile back that was taking and posting photos that they shouldn't have been doing. Being new to this site only a year ago, I have realized what makes PointBuzz better than anyother CP site out there.

I can only imagine what you think of the grown men at Cedar Fair and Cedar Point who are a lot more worked up about it than anyone here is.

But since no one is doing anything improper, maybe Kiefz015 can just tell us who his source is. There's apparently no reason to protect anyone with anonymity.

Glad you got to see it Jeff. Only reason I deleted it was because it showed up completley screwed up and i did'nt feel like retyping it. And Walt I still don't understand where anyone did anything wrong. Sounds like you are all just butt-hurt because this guy made a fair assumption. And if info really was leaked by someone working on the ride, then that guy needs punished not Kief. Ever hear the phrase "dont kill the messenger'? Cedar Fair/Cedar Point needs to keep a better lid on what they are doing and what people working on the ride are saying. Like I said in my post that got screwed up Jeff, if you don't like it then do your job and delete the post, but don't belittle someone over it especially when that someone did nothing wrong.

The fact that Keifz released info that the park is mad about is bad. The worse part is he continues to defy warnings from Jeff and many others to stop posting information the park hasn't released.
