\That does not mean that they are vegeterians and never eat anything else they go to these reastaurants to eat healthy food that night.
So by your own admission, even people who don't normally eat that way CHOOSE to sometimes. Why assume that they wouldn't do so at the park, as well? Factor in the people who choose to eat that way all the time, or *have* to eat healthy or starve (I will get violently ill if I have wheat, not kidding). Why shouldn't parks offer at least some healthier alternatives? Places like Kennywood, Idlewild, and Islands of Adventure seem to be doing pretty well for themselves with it...
Heck, look how successful Subway has been with marketing themselves as a "healthy alternative" to the burger joints. (And believe it or not, that's one of the best places for me to eat when on the road, even though I have to pay EXTRA for the "priviledge" of not eating their bread...)

Tubby: How many times have you been to Mustard Seed? Have you surveyed what people are eating? I rag on vegetarians more than anyone, but it doesn't change what I see. There's a market for it, it's strong, and it's 7% of the population. The other major parks get this, but why doesn't Cedar Point?

My favorite menu item at Burger King was the Smokey BBQ Chicken Baguette. Grilled chicken, roasted veggies and BBQ sauce. To me, great taste, and they introduced all three healthy baguette sandwiches with much fanfare. All are in the toilet now, discontinued because of very disappointing sales. People like their grease!
So, I don't see how healthy food at CP can be a money maker when people have all types of foods with sugar and fat to choose from.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
My gf (vegeterian) and I are going this Friday and Saturday and we wont be eating any major meal in the park. We would rather stop somewhere and get something filling and decently healthy and just snack on junk while in the park.
gener, I also dont think that in order to have vegeterian options a resteraunt needs to be vegie only. Many resteraunts have multiple options and cater to both vegie and meat eaters. The sports bar Rock Bottom is awesome for this. Every burger you can get has a vegeterian option, and the also have multiple other choices. Every mexican and indian resteraunt has vegeterian options as well. *** Edited 6/29/2004 7:12:29 PM UTC by eightdotthree***
That's just it Pete... you make my point for me. You don't see it because it doesn't appeal to you. I feel the same way about cheese on-a-stick, yet people buy it and eat it even though I find it nasty.

Like I said... obviously Universal, Busch and Disney get it. I doubt very much that they're selling this stuff to piss away revenue. Can anyone magically explain that away?
