Fence now around Town Hall

There are also photos of survey markers behind the Town Hall.

prime spots to eliminate dry areas of the park and this location is not at the top of the list but it could be a step in the right direction.

Wow, what a map. Good resource! This should be included as a handout at guest services. Or possibly as an overlay in the Cedar Point app, so guests don't accidentally wander too far outside of the safe zones.

Its surprising that the back half of the frontier trail is pretty much dry according to your map! Much room for improvement here CP. I will be moving quickly through this area now that I have this knowledge.

Although that map would be a good resource, don't look for black-shirt higher-ups to approve the print job. Staff meeting discussion included the valid point that "imbibers" would simply stumble their way to the next alcohol outlet. At least nearby the one saloon on Frontier Trail is a fine facility to make a pit stop at.

Just arrived from the sign shop;

Or maybe Town Hall Pub or Town Hall Parlor. I can also imagine the park using at as Prestige Pass lounge location.

That’s funny. The sign said MS13 according to another picture I saw. Said it as clear as day.

Jeff:

Mostly free of alcohol? Are you sure you've been going to the same place I have for the last several decades?

GL2CP just got back from the prohibition era, you'll have to excuse them.

How many locations served beer or alcohol in the park in the 90s? Is it the same as today?

I wish Pete were still with us. He would know. Beer was part of his charm.

If 4000 people spent $50 a day on alcohol over 120 days that's $24m of additional revenue. 60-80% gross margin business for sure. They could almost build an extra coaster every year just from slinging alcohol to drunks lol

Now imagine the possibilities if CP decided to add a Dispensary as well 😉

If I remember correctly, back in the 80's and 90's the only places in the park to purchase beer were the Red Garter, and Last Chance Saloon. It was also not widely advertised.

Certainly not like it is today.

That’s kinda what I was getting at. It wasn’t such a widespread thing in the park in the past and not as out in the open. But if it’ll bring a new coaster then drink up.

I agree, if a new coaster is on the table, then raze all the bushes to the ground ;) Turn CP into a concrete jungle. ;)

Concrete jungles are where dreams are made of. They'll make you feel brand new.

Plus Hofbrau Beer Garden, Silver Dollar, Lusty Lill's, and that beer truck by Corkscrew that had beer taps on the side of it. And I don't know for sure, but I think Frontier Inn had beer at one point too.

Now I have not been in the past few years, but compared to today, how "widespread" is it?

Town hall will be used for The Conjuring? That be my guess.

That will require a $15 Town Hall Pass. Mind you these all say "from"...meaning likely more when you actually get there.

Haunted houses/mazes also no longer included with admission.
