Favorite Night Light Ride

Hey I just wanted to know what you think has the best lights at night.

I would have to say MF because it's a classic lift hill coaster with the blue and white colors. Those colors look so sweet together at night. I also like the changing of the colors too.

Mean Streak. Hands Down.

MF and Power Tower. I like how the lights change colors.

It's hard to say... but definitely Millennium or Mean Streak.

Either Mean Streak or Millie. However, when I was there the weekend after opening MF already had one tower out. I like Power Tower too, but for the last couple times I've been there, one tower gets "stuck" and doesn't change for the rest of the night.

Mean Streak just looks immense and awesome (in the truest sense of the word, meaning great or huge or epic).

Magnum and Blue Streak are cool too, I like the way the lights kinda follow the ride (well, lift hill in Magnum's case). I think some others do this too... Raptor and Mantis? *** Edited 7/2/2006 5:13:34 AM UTC by GeeForce***

TTD's lights are done at such a grand scale it is hard not to stare at the tower. I almost ran into a person one night. :)

Back in 2003 was when TTD's lights were even better.

maXair has pretty nice lighting and from the pictures I've seen, Skyhawk has some interesting effects as well.

I like Blue Streaks the best. They just go around the whole ride and it looks impressive.

And I HATE six flags, Millie uses an elevator lift not a chain lift :)

It's still a lift hill whether or not it is chain or elevator type.

I like the lights under skyhawk. They look like ground effects on a car, But Millie beats all of the rides hands down. (Or I guess that would be Arms Down)

Millennium Force all the way, I love the lift lights. The first drop at night is amazing, and I love going over the smaller hills, especially the first one and seeing the rest of the park.

Is it just me, or do they not work very well, though? It has seemed to me like the one side works okay, but the other side hardly works at all...

I probably should add Magnum to my list. I absolutely love riding it during HalloWeekends at night when Soak City is completely dark...

Dude, You just joined. Chill. That means asking for a list like many people have for sigs not what is the best.

My favorite ride to ride at night is the Dragster because when your going straight up it looks like your being blasted up to the moon. :)

Light wise, it used to be swabinchen and about 10 years ago, it used to be calypso.

I gotta go with Millie too. The colors are so impressive, especially seen from Frontier trail. It reminds me of how they light up Niagara Falls at night -- also an impressive sight, if you've never been.

Can't believe no mentioned Gemini. At night its really fun to race against the other train, plus they sometimes, well actually most times when I have been there, turn off the trim brakes.

In 2003, Power Tower seemed to have alternating colors, but when I went in 2004, it was just plain white. Is there a reason? Does it still do that now? I like MF the best, but TTD is awesome too, because of its sheer brightness.

Mean Streak beats 'em all. TTD is a close 2nd, again viewed from Lighthouse Point. I'm sure there are better views in the park, but once it gets dark outside, my eyelids close.

Ya, Mean Streak is pretty sweet but I like Millenium Force when the lights change and move super fast. It looks like a whole bunch of strobe lights flashing on and off - Maybe they are a bunch of strobe lights??
