Favorite Area of Cedar Point!

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed before or not, but I thought I'd bring it up anyway. What area in Cedar Point do you like being in? My favorite area would have to be Frontier Trail just because it starts off with Millennium Force, Mantis, and the Train and then the rest of it is very shady trail with a few nice shops in the mix.

Mine is the Wicked Twister Area. Not only is it my favorite ride it holds the MaxAir, Disaster Transport, Space Spiral, and probably the best show in the park.

Mine would have to be in between Gemini and Magnum. I love the back area of the park. :)

I enjoy the Top Thrill Dragster area just, because of the racing
theme, and hearing the engine noises.

^^ Around Gemini and Magnum are my favorite areas also by a long shot, especially early in the morning and late at night. In terms of just the back and front of the park, the back wins hands down. That whole circle from the iron dragon midway to millie, around frontier town, and by Gemini and magnum back to iron dragon is were i spend 10 of the 12 hours at.

My favorite spot is right near Coasters Drive-In. There are 3 midways breaking off from that spot, and all lead to wonderful wonderful things. One way leads you to Dragster + Magnum, the next leads to the front of the park for Raptor, and the 3rd leads to Mantis and, of course, Millie! Not to mention Power Tower is right there too :D

Camp Snoopy, It has the best selection of rides that can be ridden by the whole family together. followed by the center of the park by coasters as Dvo mentioned.

They all have their own personality, however I have to go with the main midway. I like the landscaping, the Sky Ride above, the arcade the sound of Cedar Downs and Raptor the movement of the crowd. I like it at night when the lights come on, especially by the games.

The gazebo down by Sandcastle Suites. It is quiet and secluded but you get to see Magnum run by every few minutes. Oh, and my wife said "yes" there when I proposed.

I like the Dragster area of the park, watching peoples faces before being launched can sometimes be very funny, if you know what I mean. :) But my favorite part would have to be the back area of the park where Maverick, and Snake River Falls are since its sometimes a little quieter and a little less out in the sun back there.

Frontier Trail, near the Petting Farm under Millennium Force 2nd hill. There is never anyone back there and it's a nice quiet place to watch MF, and look out over the bay.

I like the Wicked Twister midway...nice an roomy, right by the lake, less crowded, despite the fact that I wish it had more of a boardwalk theme (and a classic wooden or mouse coaster in place of the warehouse known as Disaster Transport). Maxair, the Giant Wheel and Planet Snoopy really helped this area.

There are a number of areas I really enjoy in the park. Frontier Trail, obviously, is one of the quietest places for a change of pace. Lots of shade and charm. Then there's the benches at the intersection of midways in the back of the park, heading respectively toward Mine Ride and Maverick. It always feels like a pleasant location to take a break while still hearing the coasters. I used to love the area around the former sites of Chaos and Troika, where TTD currently stands. Even with the trees growing in a little bit now, I still liked it better in its previous incarnation.

I like the main midway the best because of all the shops. You find something different and unique in each one of them but Pagoda seems to have the most stuff.

Mine is obviously the Dragster midway because nowhere else in the park can you have the kind of draw that Dragster gets. With the grandstands, the midway, the proximity to the trains, Dragster was defiantly made to draw a crowd.

I'd say that my favorite area of the park is the Magnum Midway. There's some trees that provide a little bit of shade and a fresh smell that pleases me for some reason. There's also the fact that the Airtime King lives there and rarely has a long wait. It's a great area for turbolapping especially with the ejector seat always lacking a line.

Well if we are talking about the whole plot of land there are 2 favorite places of mine. I love the frontier trail. The different shops and the smell of fresh cut wood (or sawdust) is great. The other place i like is the beach between breakers and SS. Its very peaceful back there.

Firemen never die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved

Every time we leave the park at night, we exit the park at the jet ski rental gate and stroll along the boardwalk to the parking lot. The atmosphere of people in the pools, hot tubs, the beach, and the TGIF makes me realize what a great park we have. We then cruise thru Campers Village and see all the people enjoying their overnight stay. We've camped there before, but never had a room in Breakers. The music along the boardwalk is beach music and gets the juices flowing for the next visit!!!Call me crazy, but thats my favorite spot.

Frontier Trail in the fall with Halloweekends decorations during the day with the temperature around 55 and the sun shining. Wow that sounds very nice right about now. I'm ready for fall.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
