I'm just curious, does anybody think CP will ever do something about the extra que space for Mean Streak, Magnum, Gemini, MF, Mine Ride, and a few other rides? I mean in Mean Streak's extra que area you could fit a flat in there. What does everyone think?
I doubt it. Possibly on Magnum, although I don't know how full it gets. But with the other rides, the queues are in the infield. Makes it very difficult to do anything with them.

It's weird, when I was in line for Magnum the other day it was the first time I ever noticed all that extra que space in that back corner. It's quite hidden.

With the exception of Mean Streak and Magnum all the other queue space does get used. On Tuesday Millennium Force's queue was nearly full and Gemini's was full and about to overflow on the midway. I have seen Mine Ride's queue near full a few times this summer.
Cedar Point could get more vertical with their queue space if they wanted to get as much use out of their space as possible.
Make the queues like a parking garage. It could save a lot of space on rides like Millennium Force, and TTD is just a huge beast taking up so much space that to save on queue space would contradict it self hehe.
^Yeah... about that...

There were days last year when all the rides you mentioned, Including Mean Streak, had all the queues filled to capacity. Just because they arn't filled every day, doesn't mean they should be taken out.

The queues are inside the ride's layout. Stacking the queues like a parking garage wouldn't 'save' anything. Not to mention that would be ugly as all reason.

I know Gemini's queue is almost always filled. Partly cause it isn't the bigget queue line space and partly cause a lot of people like it cause it is a good ride for the family. But, Magnum does have a little to much queue line, and probally would have enough room for a flat ride. You never know. ;)

Maybe I'm the only one, but I have seen Magnum's queue completely full on several occasions over the last couple years.

I don't feel that parking garage queues would be a good idea anyway. You probably wouldn't want solid concrete for the steps/ramps, it might be more like the meshy-grid metal type material, any kind of structure like that is another place for people to stick gum. Oh yeah, some people actually get sick long before getting on the ride. I don't want to be under that. It's bad enough I just missed getting hit with somebody's "tossed cookies" while waiting for Raptor once.
Yeah, true. 4th of July + Rides = Full Queue Lines. So once in a while they are all full.

I was there 4th of July. Magnum was as far back as I had ever seen it. But, there was only 2 train operation.
