Sorry if I'm a little uninformed. You gotta understand that I'm a foreigner. I live in Texas. Now, what in the HECK is Carmina Burana???
Oh yes!!! I definitely agree, especially considering that I probably still listen to the movement in its entirety once a week. Karl Orff is quite a genius. The specific song you would be speaking of is Fortuna Imperiatrix Mundi(Turn of Fortunes). For all you who don't know, don't worry. It IS classical, but you may have heard it played on certain movies. It's actually a very tempestuous piece--usually leading to the climax in the plot. I highly recommend it. As far as in line entertainment goes, though. Good old top 40 and Marcus Dee will amke my day!

The movie that sticks out the most in my mind as containing portions of Carmina Burana is "Excalibur", if that helps.

Or, to quote one of my friends, "Carmina Burana is the most famous drinking song ever written."
WHY is it the most famous drinking song ever writen?

Well, I never knew it was a "famous drinking song", but there is one movement contained in Carmina Burana called in Taberna which is about this drunk guy who is gloating to all of his buddies. The movement in general Is about wine, women, love, the pleasures of life, and nature. AS someone else said, this would definitely be suitable music for the grand revealing of the coaster, as long as no one looks too deeply into the meanings of this compilation. Heheh--TCFKAB!!! I'm still sticking with Marcus Dee and the CP groove masters, though.

I thought the most famous drinking song ever written was "To Anacreon in Heaven". What, you never heard of it? Look here for the lyrics and music in MIDI form: http://www.bcpl.net/~etowner/anacreon.html

Even though this is getting off the main subject, doesn't anyone remember "99bottles of beer on the wall"??? Suprised it hasn't come up...til now.
