I would absolutely love it if we saw DT come back this year. That would be right up there with WT if you ask me.

Seriously though, it would be nice to see the effects all back on Disaster Transport... The idea of everything being "mint" again though is still a little far fetched. The timing of the queue would be off for the "Repair Bay" show since if you look the queue rails have been welded shut...

They could just cut them like they did Magnum's gate in front of the stairs up to the station...

That would require work to improve someting on DT... something CP has been unwilling to do as of late... It's a darn shame too... DT is a very original ride!

It would also be nice if they didn't give all of the credit for the ride to ITEC Productions... Intamin actually built the thing... I guess building an aluminum building around it and adding some "cool" stuff means that ITEC gets all of the credit now, right?

Well how many days untell the park opens because i am thinking unless the workers can tell us earlier . Well if anything I will be happy to see and,or hear what happening! As soon as any one gets any info or gets in there tell me!!

Just noticed something while poking around for some park details..

From the CP website under the DT page:
"Queuing area is in blacklight with fluorescent paint creating a 3-D effect. 3-D glasses are available for purchase. Ride experience will be enhanced with a starfield lighting effect."

No, new theming or anything new for DT will not come for the 2002 season. I got that from the point itself. I would give you proof, but since I don't have a scanner, that can't happen. All of the money for new attractions and sutff is going into WT and the Snoopy on Ice thing.

Then how is Soak City getting improvements if money is only going into WT and Snoopy Rocks! On Ice? I think there is a good chance that DT is getting some improvements... I have heard that it is from a few people.

Cedar Point always improves the park aside from the "big" projects. What makes you think DT couldn't be apart of the "smaller" improvements?
