Dragster Question

Now from what everyone tells me the first ride on Dragster is always the best. Is the ride experience different after riding it once? Is it as thrilling the second ride or since you know what to expect is it not as exciting?

It's great everytime you ride it! But once you ride it you wont feel like waiting in line for hours to ride again. Also the front seat is the best ride and it's worth the extra wait.

Another thing I can't get over is everyone I asked said the launch is scarier then the 420ft hill and I just don't understand why cause height is a fear factor for me but definitly not speed.

After anticipating the launch, once you get up that high, it's over so fast you won't even notice it.

That hill is nothing after that launch.

The first ride is definitely the best, but its still a blast other times.

It leaves you wanting more. Let's just say that.

The thing I love most about Dragster is that(likeDJA19 said) it never gets old. That is only if you ride it nonstop all day....cough! cough! ,me, cough! cough! :)

It's like you know the layout, the launch procedure(roll into launch position, couple of secounds, rollback a couple of inch's, brakes down, launch) but is still an amazing ride every single time.

Now that's just my opinion.

The launch is the highlight. Being 420 feet in the air isn't even noticable. The ride is so much fun, I can't wait till I ride it again, I've only rode it once.

I can't believe the ride is that fast. Only ten days and counting until I can finally say I rode the best coaster.

It's not "The Best"..........(smacks face) Of course it is!!, what was I thinking!! :)

But seriously, it's the best for many and not the best for many. Let us not forget the excellent ride Millennium Force(as well as others)provides.

It's all a matter of opinion, that ride hasn't impressed me much since the first time I rode it. Probably because of its irregularity of actually running its first two seasons, we'll have to see what this season brings.

My feeling was that during my first ride, it was just so fast and I was disoriented and wasn't really able to take it all in. Rides 2-5 were probably the most enjoyable for me. Beyond that, there are at least three or four rides (Magnum, Raptor, WT, probably MF) in the park I'd rather ride.

I do like going fast and being disoriented so now I'm even more excited about my first ride. And if its so fast you dont even notice the height of the hill what do you notice besides a huge blur?

Yeah, if you flip you're head really fast, you can see Soak City but other than that you really can't see much. In my opinion that's the best part of the ride.

I'd have to agree that it's all about the launch and the drop is secondary. It is pretty cool though, because when you're at the top, you can look down and see a little purple hill way down below you and it takes a second for you to realize that it's actually Millennium, not a kiddie coaster.

All that aside, I wouldn't wait more than an hour and a half to ride it again because there are better ways to spend your time.

I'd have to agree with MDOmnis, after my first ride I really couldn't describe what happened, except for I was moving real fast. After riding it a couple more times I learned to appreciate it more.

The launch is ALWAYS fun to me, everything else gets a little.. meh.

I think we can all agree that the launch is the best.

But I know what's better........getting a rollback meaning 2 launches!!

The first ride per trip is always the best. I get the the park maybe 2 times a year and after being away from it for a month or two, my body forgets the whole sensation, so it feels like the first time.

It's not a very memorable experience, so it's great every time! I say that it's nowhere near the best coaster, but it's a very cool experience. It's not a "re-ride". I would say don't ask us about the experience, it's the UNKNOW that makes it better. Just wait. Just wait. (6 days!)
