Dragster down today?

my boyfriend is at cedar point and says that the dragster has been down so far all day. does anyone know if there is something wrong with it or if they are just doing maintenance on it?

I just took a look at the dragster cam and all the cars are on the storage tracks. Thats not a good sign.

We don't really know if it'll be down all day or not. It's a mechanical piece of equipment. Equipment fails.

All trains are on the track now. So who knows??

They'll open it at 9:45 tonight if they are able to. Parking all the trains on the transfer may just be part of standard operating procedure depending on what is being fixed.

Looking at the webcams, I see all six trains on the track, including one in launch. So not only is something up with the ride, but they have more trains on it than normal.

They will test all 6 trains then move 1 to the storage tracks before operations start.

Anybody know if it ever opened? I will be at CP for the first time tomorrow and will be vey upset if it isn't open. :((

It did not open today.

Why will you be very upset? There's still a ton of other good rides to enjoy at the park.

I hope dragster is open today. Not only do I like the ride, but the more rides opening, the less wait time for each ride. I'll see when I get there, I'm about to leave.

^ because I was really looking forward to it. I've been to lots of theme parks and ridden a lot of stuff before but Dragster is unique. I'm not saying I won't still have fun but it would suck to fly all the way out here and then not get to ride one of the major rides.

Also, didn't you say FLGirl that you'll be at CP for two days? If so and if Tuesday is a bust, hopefully Wednesday will work out! :)

It looks like TTD is back up and running.
