Dragster Crew 2004

For those of you replying to my questions ... thank you. You can refer to me as Chris by the way db is an old nickname.

I also heard that Amy Jacobs is a Michigan fan... uh oh any other Wolverines on the ride that I should know of. Go Buckeyes!

Another question. How is the weather during May? I have a black and blue rainsuit and sweatshirt but should I get a blue suit. And how are the different positions overall during the summer as far as sun and heat.

Well Chris, you are pretty much out in the sun the entire time. Except if you are at Load 1 and Load 2. It just depends where you are at what time. For instance you don't want to be at Unload one (which is the booth) around 4-6 the sun is right on you. Plus the floor is metal and some of the panels on the wall are black so its an oven. On a good note though you do get to be in controls which has two sit down positions plus air conditioning for about and hour or so. My suggestion is to make sure you where sun screen and have plenty of water.

By the way Chris I hope you like to clean, because that's what you'll do a lot of especially at the beginning when the ride doesn't want to work!!! By the end of the season we were so tired of cleaning trains that two of us would take one train and clean the same spot for an hour or so.

You will also need your something to keep you warm during may. Especially at the beginning it is still pretty cold.

You were a great 3rd in charge. I have no doubt you will be a terrific ATL. Just be sure to have as much fun with it as Stephanie did! My plans have me moving to New Mexico in April, so it looks like I won't be able to make it back for a visit to see if the tempermental child runs the same. Enjoy the new additional "management use only" button on the control panel. Think of me whenever you see that little red light blink and say A.M.S., or whenever you hear the term "Duct Tape" (I know, that means you'll think of me everyday :) ).

I'll think of you guys every time I'm speeding along New Mexico's 75mph speed limit roads. Gotta love a state like that.

Well first off Congrats to Naomi and all the other sups!! Its going to be a wonderful year for them. Matt Speer, I love ya and though we would of had a wonderful time being a team you have moved on to a great oppurtunity!! I AM SOOOOOO Excited about Brent being my right hand man!! I love you bunches and cant wait to see you and work with you again!! The thing about the Blue Tag change this year as compared to last is that Matt didnt move down he moved up. All the blue tags last year(except Steph and myself) quit or got demoted. I for one dont plan on going anywhere and I am sure Brent feels the same way. I finished the season last year as TL and I will finish the season this year as TL with Brent by my side!! So enough with the Blue Tag rotation jokes on Dragster!! I am really excited to work with my crew members of new and old!! It is going to be a great summer!! And we will try to make it only 1 pass out a day in the Unload 1 box/oven:)! To DB, Go Blue!! Also dont worry about the hours. I always try my best to get people the schedules they want/need. You would be the first up to leave for school on Sundays in May!! Thats it for now!! Congrats Brent I am so excited for you. You'll do a great job. The only thing that I think you need a reminder of is that Blue Tags are supposed to set a good example so be "sure that you're on time this year"!! I'll miss working with you, and Brent you and Amy still have to continue on with the tradition of our Cream Cheese Pretzals on Sundays, Okay!!!!
