Down for the season?

All I can say is that I hope she wakes up out of her coma before I go up and visit her during October!

i really doubt it like jeff said this is cedar point not some little amusement park. i think since they have all week long with no one in the park they will fix it soon if not already.

They are waiting on parts from Switz. Shipping takes several days and the manufacture of them takes time, too. We will enjoy the ride next season.

Hm...this is news to me.

I wouldn't worry, however, about it being down the rest of the season. Cedar Point is usually pretty quick and efficient when it comes to getting their rides back up. I mean, if they can fix a cable break on TTD in just a few hours, then who is to say that they won't have Wicked Twister fixed by the end of the season? Now granted, these are two completely different situations, but I guess all I'm trying to say is that in my opinion, I doubt it will be down until '05.

They have 1 1/2 months to fix it for when I'm coming so they better fix it. I love that ride, I don't know what I'd do without WT. I'm kind of obsessed.

The official poop is that it will likely be down this weekend, but they hope to have it up "soon."

4 - LIM Motors

1 - TTD launch cable...ah make it 2

2 - TTD Hydraulic pumps

1 - MF elevator cable (isn't that due)

and a roll of duct tape, can we get that next day?

Let's hope TTD runs on Saturday.

This is just speculation, but WT's downtime be due to structural issues? Getting an somewhat standard electrical component is way easier than getting a new support or track section manufactured.

"They" told me it's electrical.

Not that they'd be working on it every waking moment, but there was nobody near it every time I passed by on Sunday. Of course if there's an electrical problem they just might have been in the electrical room (I know I'm jumping to conclusions here).

I don't know about anyone else but Jeff usually post something that is speculation. In fact he sometimes closes threads like these from all of the fake speculations. So, I'd believe him when he says it was electrical and the ride should be up by tomorrow. That's my thought on things.
