Does Frontiertown need to be updated?

I would like to see a new ride back there. Maybe a flat ride or two. Maybe the Carousel pavilion should go for a new ride.
They have two roller coasters, three water rides, and a bunch of flats. What more do you want?
More and cheaper BEER and Lime

I think Frontiertown looks great--too much more development ride-wise might take away from the 'Frontierish' look to it. Keep it as it is, I say.
It definitely needs something to get more people back there. It was kind of sad to see Frontiertown empty at 8 when the park didn't even close until 11 or 12.

The Mean Streak is on heck of a coaster! I always enjoy FT at nite because it is usually not crowded and I usually stay on site!

Frontier Town at night is also my favorite place for the relaxed, uncrowded feel. There are two coasters, three water rides, three flats, and the train station, so it's not void of rides. During hot summer days, it's pretty jammed with people between Thunder Canyon and SnakeRiver Falls.

But,I also sometimes feel it's lacking something. Seems it started when they moved the Carousel out. The carousel helped make it feel more like a country fair.

If they wanted to add something fun for the family and keep the theme they could add a falling star ride themed like the conestoga wagon one at SFGAm.

One thing it could use is an entrance somewhere back by Lighthouse Point/Mean Streak. When you stay in a cottage,it's a good hike from the magnum exit to back there. I don't mind usually but in the middle of a 90 degree day,it's a long walk :)
Take a shuttle Jedi.
They should totally turn the whole area into a 50's themed area. They should mount all kinds of neon signs on the old buildings, but not change the building at all....that would be so cool!

No, they shouldn't change it! That's one of the few clam places in the park, and it's nice and shady. It's got its fair share of rides too. The only thing they should do if they want to change anything is build a new coaster back there...with darker colors to fit the surroundings.

"Frontiertown should be updated." Isn't that a contradiction?
I think that FrontierTown is nice the way it's shady and it is a different experience than the rest of the park. Maybe one smaller wooden roller coaster might be nice though.

A wooden coaster ONLY if they could do it right, like Raven...built in amongst the trees rather than INSTEAD of the trees.

Kinzel often makes decision on new rides based on actually riding them. I wonder if he has ever ridden the woodies at Holiday World?
Leave FT alone! I am sure that there will be a couple of more sipper stands and so forth but the genere of FT should not be violated;besides i really do enjoy the Mine Ride.

I think it would be nice if they brought back the frontier lift.
There are a few coasters in the way right now. Perhaps they could have a lift bridging the area from the Gemini Midway, right behind #16 to over by Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon. That would save some walking distance, but would it be worth it?

I think it would really be worth it. I dont think I am the only one that complains about walking around the island. Besides, That would really be a nice walk like near the millie overbanks and the ID. Like a nature trail. Since they did distroy the quiet area of the park near the Gemini. Not that I'm upset with that or anything :)

I think the frontier lift was taken down cos someone fell off or it just plain broke. It does increase traffic flow past the shops on the trail so dont look for the lift in our lifetimes!

It was taken out because they had had to make room for Iron Dragon. They also had the train to get back there, and they already had another lift so maybe they thought it was redundant. I'm not sure on this, but it also might have been hard to maintain because of its remote nature.
