A 4-D is possible because CP has a thing with S&S and S&S is starting to build more 4-D coasters so maybe it'll happen.
Who knows, it could be a non-looping Coaster...

Well, I heard about Skyhawk before they announced anything. I mean depends on who the empolyees know is all it comes down to. I had heard what type of ride it was.
The biggest one I heard for 2007 (and they had title and theme all ready for it) was dueling flying coasters. It was like a cowboy theme. So i dunno. But that's what i heard.
One day, while sitting in the Stockade break area, a few people were talking about how they decided that it was going to be Dueling Floorlesses in the WWL spot, called Cops and Robbers. But WWL would still be there so the boats would actually be armed with squirt guns so they could squirt the robbers train as it went by. I thought that was really funny.

Dualing or not a flying coaster will not happen at Cedar Point, they have very little capacity, even with dual loading stations.. just wait and see, tatsu will not only run half the time it should, but will not have a wonderfully high capacity either.
Every ride at CP is a capacity hog, and the 2007 coaster will be no diffrent, I put my bet on a floorless coaster weather GL has one or not because floorless coasters have great capacity(when they want to) and can easily be themed to a westren style.
Then again, who said there would be a coaster in 2007 at all?
To be ultra-stupid, I think there retro-fit TTD with an airtime hill similar to what Kingda Ka has... totally going to happen... and while there at it, they will add another 100 feet to the top to make it 520 feet tall!!! And it'll be re-named Top Taller Dragster XLC!!!

even though I really doubt that they would do it I think that a diving coaster(like ShieKra at Busch Gardens Tampa) would be so cool. I dont think that it takes up a lot of space because of a steep lift hill and the 90 degree drop. Although if they built any coaster where would they put it theres not room for much of anything with out demolishing another ride or coaster. I do agree with Screamomatic about the floorless coaster and they are fun but I think CP needs something different like the diving coaster. Some other coasters that i think would be cool are a sreaming squirrel and a skywheel which don't take up much space either and they look pretty fun.
They look fun, but again, they have seriously low capacity.
It's all about the capacity.

That's not neccessarily true. In "01" there was a drawing of dragster on the board in Bill Sphen's office. We also knew about Wicked Twister. People made a big deal because Bill and Monty were spotted at SFWOA riding superman. Those of us who did no didn't make a big deal out of it. You'd be supised who knows what.
CDCP, one of the big features of a dive coaster is the "dive" underground. This is not feasbile due to the high water table at the Point. One could be built that does not go underground, but then it kinda loses the main gimmick of the dive coaster.

Go ride Sheikra. It never goes under ground, but after the MCBR it goes into an above ground tunnel. That right there is the best part of the ride, especially at night.

That looks a lot like it goes underground, where it goes under the splashdown.
Note the part:
138-foot drop through an underground tunnel.
I will agree it could work with an above ground tunnel, but part of the experience is falling straight down into the ground.

If there was a 450+ foot dive coaster, I don't think I would notice from that height if it were a real underground tunnel or a above ground tunnel. Same effect.
There is no tunnel at all on Sheikra's first drop anyway. So you could do a tunnel somewhere else durring the course of the ride. It could go underground a little, at least 9 to 10 feet down.
Sorry, when I said above ground it's because that's where it starts and then goes under. My bad, I was unclear.

Even though I really doubt it, are there any higher level employees on this site?
They are listening, but I doubt they post anything.
There is no one on this forum that I would say knows more than the average ethusiast. There are a few who know a lot of specifics (ei: TTD techs), but that's out of pure interest. Others just been an ethusiast for so long, they know a lot of the history and trends of the park over the years.

I just hope a new state-of-the-art flume will be constructed in place of WWL. Even as a diehard coaster fan, I believe a new water ride should be installed.
- Uncle Jay
That would be preaty cool but do they have any newer log flume version already or would this be a new concept.?
No, the last time CP did this (Mill Race) was at the end of the 1993 season to make room for Raptor. But they had another flume, WWL, which was much longer and bigger. I hope the park adds that "new water ride in Frontier Town" they were going to build for 2005.

True, but I classify SRF with TC. What I mean is CP removed a flume, but had another one. Now, they removed a flume again with nothing left. If CP would have opened something in 1993 similar to Disney's Splash Mountain with a drop like SRF, that would have rocked!

Of course only a rumor:
540ft. intamin coaster, already started construction for 2007
is what I heard recently, (who knows.)
Well that rumor is just obvious. The last 3 coasters were Intamin. MF is 310, TTD is 420, so of course in the pattern it would be 540. I don't see it happening.
