Disaster Transport Crew 2004

My cousin Amy has been hired for DT! She is very excited to start working on DT as it is her favorite ride! Does anyone have any advice for a first year on DT?

Its got AC, thats pretty much all that I know. I'll be a first year too and I'm working on DT. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun this summer because I have heard some good things about working DT.

I adored working Disaster Transport, back in the good ole days of the orange jumpsuits and flight wings. Gotta love it when someone pukes in the trough too -- of course, I was off that night so I could see the humor!

Being cross trained is fairly simple, but you have to show you're a good worker that can handle a new ride. If you don't do your ride good, they don't want you to go to another one and mess up even more (unless you start getting written up, at which case they'd find you maybe something simpler...) It's not a hard job, but it's actually fairly entertaining. Sometimes if your crew gets to be too much (hey, it happens), you can ask to be switched to another ride for a week or so. They usually have an opening some place or another, and sometimes they'll just cross train to have someone in case of a dire emergency (people not showing up, etc.)...

Update....and it's something I'm not too happy about but you can't argue with them because the decisions already been made....Ride Operations has decided that all rides will be wearing the Red/blue Uniforms....that means no more Pilots outfits for us.....ah well see ya'll when you get here
