Disaster Transport Crew 2004

I just looked at my work agreement online and I have been assigned to Disaster Transport! Anybody else out there working DT as well? This is my first year and I'm very excited. Anybody work DT before? If so, what is it like?

I was the TL there last year, and trust me it is a fun ride to work overall. The a/c dosen't always work however. You'll get a good amount of hours there though. My only advice is be good to her and she'll be good to you. You have a good Atl too. He's a very strange fellow. J/k Rich. Well Good Luck!

Thanks jsbeatle. I was hoping that I would get a ride where I would get a good amount of hours. I also heard that I could cross train on other rides in my zone as well. I am really looking forward to this summer. Is anybody else out there on my crew too?

Also, is it true that the Disaster Transport crew has different uniforms than all other ride ops?

Did it really give you SARS, or are u just being ridiculous?...lol. Anyway, I just got my contract in the mail so its confirmed that I am on Disaster Transport this summer. Maybe some of you will take a break from the heat and come into my air-conditioned ride..lol j/k. I can't wait to meet some of you. You all seem like really nice people.

I crosstrained on Disaster from Twister. It's really nice although GET SUNGLASSES! People always forget about it, but if you go on break from there (complete dark / blacklights) and then you go to the outside mid-day it's like someone is taking halogen lamps and shining them in your face and you can't look away! Good good good sunglasses is a MUST!

Hey Josh are you not working at CP this year?? Or where'd they stick you?
