Exactly. I'm sure they were headed East. They are going to Dorney.

Well I had to ask the dumb question in case the truck driver decides to make a stop somewhere going west and then decide to go east. I'm weird.
Anyway though, has anybody seen any pictures of Dorney Park prepping the area for Demon Drop?
yeah, newsplusnotes has a few really good picks. http://newsplusnotes.blogspot.com/2009/12/dorney-demon-update-121509.html

Hey the truck driver could get lost and just deliver it to my back yard!!!!
But i would have to explain to everyone how i got it and I just don't know if could afford the electric bills!!!
I like the pics of the Demon Drop! It is ironic to see the Superman from Geauga Lake in the background! Its is crazy to see all these great rides leaving our Ohio parks and going all over the country!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
Skyscraper originally came from Dorney. Though it did spend some time at Valley Fair first.

^That is one ride I am glad came to the park. Aside from being a pretty fun ride, it was a much needed upgrade to Challenge Park, even if it was used.
I was the first of it's type that I rode when it was at VF. I've since ridden the one in the Dell's as well and the CP one. It was the same one, but the view was a bit different. ;-) It's one of the few Up-Charge rides that I feel is worth paying for. I must admit though, I'd likely only ride when offered a discount. Which is what I had on my previous rides. Assuming we still have the BOGO option at CP this year, I'll ride it again.

And it only took us how many months to get you to ride it? ;)
What are you talking about? I test rode the thing before it opened!..didn't I?
I thought that was Steve? Either way, you haven't truly rode until you've rode with me, and I don't recall that happening. :) Although it's possible it did happen and I just forgot...
It was just confirmed that demon drop will be replacing the crazy cars ride at dorney.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
That'll fit in great right next to their S&S drop tower, Dominator...
Here is the article about it all......

Yeah I was there 3 weeks ago on my vacation but didn't get to ride much because the stupid rain wouldn't let up. Anyway though I think Demon Drop will fit in nicely with Dorney Park.
NewsPlusNotes has a great photo report of the new ride. http://newsplusnotes.blogspot.com/

i guess this is the best place i can put my demon drop story so i apologize to any of the uptights now. went on a tour of pa, ny and canada last week. first hershey and then dorney park. from the lot, demon drop looked freshly painted. eventually got to the ol' ride and it looked great. placed in a nice location and very fresh looking. a ride host told me there are still some bugs in the ride to work out. i thought there was one or two cars missing as the loading took longer than at cedar point. going up the shaft was much slower than in the good ol' days. i also thought the drop lasted a few seconds longer than in the past. the one thing that remained the same was the drop down to the upright position. rough as hell. demon drop has a good home and although i never considered it a favorite of mine, it was a sight for sore eyes. i also got good pictures of the old frontiertown carousel. that brought back memories. wish i knew how to post pictures but i don't have the know how. dorney is a nice little park.
i live at the saint pia zadora golden buckeye retirement community
