I noticed this year how much the bridge has started to heave and crack. I'm sure that it going to be on their list of improvements at some point, because if we notice it, they notice it.
I personally think the asphalt works on the trail, it just goes with the old Western trading village look.
Stamped concrete or stone would have a more authentic old western feel than modern asphalt. A lighter color would also be easier on bare feet around the water rides in blistering hot sunny days than the asphalt.

Ah yes, just like the asphalt used on the Oregon Trail. ;-)

That's a completely solvable problem. In fact, they already have addressed this problem - trees in the path are ringed by pavers allowing for tree growth. And just over in Frontier Town.

They apparently have also put in a new Observation Tower! And Valravn has been torn down, while Steel Vengeance appears to have been converted to a wooden roller coaster... ;)

I wonder if this announcement has more to do with longevity of the park itself I.E. something like construction of a brand new causeway over the coming years OR some major investment to help deal with rising lake levels.
Rising lake levels? I thought I saw a map that showed even if all the ice on the planet melted, there would be little to no effect on the Great Lakes.
Honestly Cedar point didn't want to show up kings island for Orion so there going to be getting an inverting GCI with 2 inversions and its going to be 200 Ft tall and its going to be a decent coaster. But that is for 2021 for 2020 its going to be a family boat ride and the town hall and some food options are coming back nothing special but I wish that they would but a dock over the maverick lake to get some more photo opportunities that would be great
Ah, it’s so nice to have that “insider information”. Especially when you have to read it all in one breath. Punctuation saves lives people.

LOL...Inverting wood coaster when they already have Steel Vengeance
After reading that comment by Winded RMC Raptor, I imagined this.

LOL..Tell that to 99% of the people that aren't enthusiast...perception is reality in business. People view it as wood thus they would see no big deal (ie...waste) for CP to add a GCI inverting wood coaster. It would be viewed as adding back to back essentially the same ride. The nuance & differences would be lost & thus a bad investment for CP
