Yesterday when my friends and I got off of Power Tower some kids were talking and one of them said
"When the green side goes (it was broken at the time) a trapdoor opens and the ride goes 100 feet under ground. That is why they call it pit drop"
This kid was around 14 years old. Myfriends and I just laughed.
One time, my mom (who has been riding the Iron Dragon for years) asked me if it went upside down. I just looked at her and said, "Are you being serious?" She sadly was.
But when I hear people talk about Cedar Point I don't bother to correct them either because at a certain point it's a lost cause.
All of these posts are super funny by the way!

Yeah I don't correct people because I figure I'll let people believe what they want. Everyone comes to Cedar Point to have a good time, so I just let people escape reality even if it means they are spreading absurd rumors.
Although yesterday, WT broke down twice for about 5 minutes each while I was in line. The person behind us said "Our seat is gonna fly off!" She certainly got a kick out of it when I told her to watch the spike as the testing train ran up it. She wasn't a fan of the wobbling around lol
The strangest thing I heard was when I was waiting in line for Dragster and talking about how it is the second tallest coaster in the world. A guy looked at me and said that the tallest coaster in the world is in Virginia. I ask him which coaster is that and he told me its called the Alpengiest at Busch Gardens...I didn't even bother to correct him.
The green train from Millennium landed under Magnum and that is what is causing Magnum to sink!!!
Well I wish that was the case but unfortunately it was not lol. He said that it was the tallest coaster and meant it. A person he was with told him it was not the tallest (I mean did he not realize what coaster he was about to get on)but he stood by his statement.

I have one from yesterday. My sister and I were waiting in line for Windseeker and the couple behind us were talking about Magnum, the conversation went something like this. Girl:We should go on the Magnum.
Guy:The wooden one?
Girl:Yep.
When I heard that I just turned to my sister and shook my head. I don't know why they thought it was wooden. I mean you can clearly see it while in Windseeker's line.
^ Blue streak, no can't mix that up. How about CCMR. No name still ver different. Gemini, this one has to be it. No wait, the only way this is close to Magnum is in relationship to distance. Mean Streak. Yes, this is it, the names start with the same letter. But there is still one problem, but I can't place my finger on it. Oh wait, I remember now, One of them is massive and made of wood while the other one is tall and long while maid of white(?) and red painted meta.
Most of the time we forget that a lot of people visit from out of state just because it sounds like fun. I can't really blame any one for these comments because they were most likely told it by some one else and they don't know any better because they don't feel like finding out for themselves. Some of these are very funny and I wish to hear more and more as the season progresses.
